Very authentic korean-style bar. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall but don’t let deter you. This place is great to spend some time after work, grab a drink and korean bites to go with it. It’s a sit down place, but i wouldn’t call it a restaurant per se. Most dishes are shareable, bite-sized, fried stuff. All designed to go well with a wide variety of soju. The monsoon wings are great, so are the chicken and beef sliders; green onion pancake, fried cauliflower and kimchi dumplings are very tasty; kimchi fries and kalbi are ok, but i’ve had better. Service is very attentive and quick. The decour is very cool.
New Kids on the block. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. Not too cramped plenty of space. Food is delicious and finally a real competition to the k-bar scene in North york. Come here if your tired of nangman, anju, hanbatang.
The food was amazing and very authentic! A wonderful place to go with friends and family with a beautiful interior. Definitely a rare hidden gem I would highly recommended!
Amazing atmosphere, stellar staff, and fantastic food! Went to this location for a friend's birthday dinner and had difficulty maintaining conversation with everyone, as I was distracted by the flavor fountain in my mouth. The Fried Chicken here is truly something else, only outdone by the attentiveness of the staff themselves!
Had a great time with friends here. The workers here were very accommodating and friendly. Servers were constantly circling around not at all in an annoying way, just checking in, ready to approach if anyone needed anything or called them over. The server's recommendations for drinks were great, and the cocktails were very easy to drink and delicious. The entire group loved the drinks. Also the food was great. Chicken was very fresh and juicy, and the rosé tteokbokki/rice cakes were great as well! They were incredibly busy, and the staff were really kind to check in and keep us updated on our orders throughout the night. For the most part, food and drinks came out relatively quickly - sometimes we had to ask the staff to check the status of our orders, but we didn't mind because we saw the place was packed. Also, the decoration was really nice and all the servers were dressed in black, which made for a great environment. Only setback was that we received a dirty plate upon sitting down at our table, but the server was very, very quick to change it and apologized in a way that felt genuine. We can't even be mad over something small like that, especially when everything else was awesome. Overall, will definitely come back. Thank you!:
I had an amazing time here! The vibes were immaculate and the staff was so friendly and patient. Beautifully designed and will definitely be returning!
I went with my friends on Dec 9th Friday night, it was an amazing. The aesthetic of this place is so beautiful from interior to the plating of the food, so enticing, the music was at a perfect volume not too loud nor too low, perfect to have an audible conversation with my friends. Price is affordable, very recommendable to go with friends and it will be a night to remember. I really love their homemade drinks: Mango and Peach Makguli my favourite is the Mango Makguli with a good balance of the taste of mango and alcohol, yummy and it hits at the right spot ; Mango Pineapple and Peach Yogurt Baijui my favourite is the Mango Pineapple with an outstanding taste, the balance of the Baijui alcohol and Mango Pineapple juice is top notch . The Peach Makguli and Peach Yogurt Baijui are delicious too but those two are my favourite . I sadly had an heavy dinner and couldn’t try their dishes, but I had the Oden Soup and Kimchi Fries. I can say this place has the best Kimchi fries I have ever had because the kimchi on the fries isn’t overwhelming that it makes the fries soggy, it’s enough to enjoy the fries and kimchi together. Oden soup was good with the udon noodles in it, yummy and my favourite anjus drinking munchies to end my drinking night . Customer service is on point and great, servers are attentive and able to answer any requests or questions. Had conversations with my server and it made my overall experience outstanding. Thank you for making my Friday night remarkable !! My friends and I are looking forward to coming back next weekend and can’t wait to make it our regular weekend drinking spot !!
Wow! That is all I have to say about this place. A hidden gem tucked away. The interior was decorated beautifully, drinks were great, and they weren't stingy with the portions so it might be best to bring a friend or two! My favourite was the kimchi fries which perfectly merged together such a traditional korean staple with a classic bar food. My boyfriends favourite was the boneless fried chicken. We got the yangnyeom. Again, the portions were massive! We had enough left over for lunch and the chicken still tasted amazing the next day! I will definitely be returning ASAP!!
Food was fantastic, service was prompt, and the interior design is so unique! My friends and I couldn’t stop taking photos!
KBBQ & Eggplant Kkangpungi we’re my favourite. Good selection of alcohol. I will bring my friends next time
