De Chou

Hidden gem in the GTA! A nice small restaurant that seems to be run by a Korean family. I rarely award a restaurant 5 stars but De Chou deserves it. Portions are a good size, you can truly taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients they use. Only complaint is that they only give 2 side dishes, they were both great though. Tried 3 dishes and would recommend all 3. Pork bone soup - meat was tender, soup was flavorful, solid choice Beef bone broth - flavorful and aromatic. Stir fried pork hot plate - delicious, a nice spicy kick, meat and veggies both fresh. Very good price for a hot plate compared to other restaurants A solid restaurant overall, will definitely come back. Hope the quality keeps up!

The pork sausage soup was very good. Good potion and the soup tasted great. Would get this again and it was quite cheap if you go during lunch and order from the lunch specials section. However the hot plate pork portion was very small. A lot of vegetables but barely any pork and the dish was a bit over $20. Taste was great but lacking meat and too much zucchini. Side dishes were good and rice was well cooked as well.

We drove half an hour to this place for the water cold noodles, mixed cold noodles and beef small intestine, and we were not disappointed at all. The cold noodles were not as spicy as you would expect, but more on the sweet side. Cold noodles are definitely best for summer! Their kimchi is also amazing. The service was also warm and friendly, will definitely be back!

We came for dinner at ~4:30 so the restaurant was empty. We were greeted by an amazing aroma from the kitchen and very friendly and outgoing servers. All the food we ordered was delicious. They also gave us a free steamed egg that was very tasty. I got the mulnaengmyeon and it was sooooo good. It was sour and salty and the noodles were chewy. Be careful tho because the noodles are super chewy and they might be a choking hazard. My sister said her DaeJi GukBap no pic was delicious as well; the pork in there was insanely soft and melt-in-your-mouth. The LA kalbi was also delicious, but a bit chewy so it might be easier to cut up with scissors than try to rip with your teeth. The gamjatang hot pot was labelled with one chilli pepper but I didn't find it that spicy. In fact the kimchi was spicier lol. Also they say it's for two people but I think it's enough for 3-4 people if you also order other dishes. It might be enough for two people if you don't order anything else. Overall it was a great experience with fantastic food and welcoming service.

Excellent service, number 1 seafood pancake in Toronto, steamed pork wrapped by letters with some kimchi inside really impressive! Highly recommend Korea restaurant. 100% will go again!

Gorgeous soup here! The best soondaeguk soup ever! Tastes sooo nice! And the pork belly is also fresh and delicious! Very nice service, they will teach you the best way to enjoy the food. Only thing is not much servers, so we need to wait a little bit longer to be seated. But the food worths! Very recommend!

One day when I am off from work, I ordered several Korean foods which my wife and daughter love to eat. They are so delicious and yummy and very fleshly made with a lots of care. Our family was very happy to take out from De Chou. Thank you very much!!! I highly highly highly recommend their Korean Authentic foods, they are all so good and wonderfully made!!!!!!!!!^^

Delicious Korean food with friendly staff. I had their Korean blood sausage stew and it was as good as expected. Their portions were small for the price though.

I've never had Bossam so flavourful before! It was tasty, they serve it on a heated plate and each slice was thick. There was plenty of lettuce and a good assortment of side dishes. Definitely coming back, glad we found this little place. Parking: Lots of parking available

An awesome Korean family restaurant. Food is good. First time trying the pork hock, it’s amazing. For sure will go back for other dishes.
