Customer Service was a nightmare, went in to look for filter for a fridge, I stood there and walked around for someone to help me, I even called for help 25min or more I lost track of time, came to find out that the person that could had helped me had been chatting away and laughing with another man on really nothing about anything, he never offered help until I asked him if he worked there when his friend left, that is when he finally responded, "Yes I work here, what do you need help with?.." I saw them talking since I walked in, I thought the whole time they were both customers, until his friend left and he finally walked behind the counter... OMG!!!... he looked lazy and looked like he was just there to chill and trying to avoid helping customers, I could not believe how long he was talking and did not even excuse himself from that other man just to offer that he could help me later, acknowledge or something????, I even stood at the counter for awhile, I even called for help!!!. Annoying!!!.. This is NOT the first time I got this kind of service from there, will never shop there ever again!!!!.... I would give a NO Star if there was one... 😝😤... Feeling disgusted!!!!...

All my experiences at this store have been extremely positive. I go there every month to make my Sears Mastercard payment,and no matter who helps me,they are all courteous and efficient. In recent months,I have purchased a set of Craftsman wrenches and a Craftsman air compressor. Both times the salesman was Bill,and he is very friendly,knowledgeable, and helpful. I plan on future purchases there,and would recommend this store to my friends and family.

My experience is not unlike the majority who I see even took the time to write a review. It makes me wonder just how many others were chuffed at the service they received yet did not write a review. I , too, have experienced the rolling of the eyes from the owner as if thinking, "Oh great another one." I felt from the start, he was rude, inconsiderate, and unwilling to help a paying customer. So a year later (this current review) I figured I needed a new wet/dry shop vac. Reading product reviews online, I made my choice and thought I would call to find if this store carried the model I wanted. For a moment, the man who answered the phone seemed perplexed about shop vacs. I would ask him a question, and he would repeat my question as if in a daze or terribly distracted by something else. Then he loudly tells a customer who was obviously in--store something. I waited, and he sounded as if he were walking down aisles looking for it. He then says, it's not that aisle. Now come on, the store isn't that big, and SURELY he knew where they kept them?!! He then tells me he can't find any in the store. I then tell him thanks for your help (ha !). So I call the Hood River store and guess what, the person who answered knew exactly what models they had , if they were on the floor and how much they were. I found out what I wanted to know in less than a minute when I called there.

I have purchased several appliances at the store over the years. I recently purchased a dishwasher after looking at all the options, including online. I have to say once I went to the store and looked at the large selection I knew I needed to buy it there(even after looking at Home Depot). The staff knew the different models and options and the price was hard to beat. Once I got it installed we noticed there was a difference in the model we saw and the one we purchased. I went back and pointed out the difference and they had made a mistake in what was listed on the tag in the store. They apologized, gave me the model that I thought I was getting at the same price even though it was $40.00 more. If a store fixes a mistake, it shows that they are truly customer centric. Definitely a good experience and it makes me more confident in what I am buying in this store.

Save yourself the headache. Never work with this Sears store or Sears online for any appliance or item that requires delivery, or servicing. Terrible customer service, they clearly do not care to have your business. The run arounds and complete disregard for the customer are disgusting. Pay twice as much somewhere else, you'll wish you had if you ever have the misfortune of dealing with Sears for any purchase larger than a screwdriver.
