I bought a washer and dryer and the preventive maintenance program they offered at the time. The washer and dryer have work wonderfully and I have had no problem with them. A year later someone from Sears called to remind me it was time for the check up, I was so glad it was a live person and not a machine. I wasn't able to be available so waited until today to make my appointment, No problem. All the Sears employees have been so professional and helpful. I thought I may have to wait a while, but nope! Tomorrow in the time slot I wanted. Thanks Sears!!!

I recently went to the Sears in Grants Pass to purchase a new oven/stove. The next day I thought I had left my phone there and so called and asked them for some assistance. They did not find the phone, however they took the time to look and even to call and ask how to call the phone to make sure it wasn't still in the store. Anyone who has lost their phone knows what a kind thing that offer was! I greatly appreciate that kind of customer service. They went above and beyond. Thanks Grants Pass Sears store!

Don't expect appliances to be delivered on anyone's agenda but theirs, unless you live in the city limits I suppose... On or around April 2nd, I went to the store and purchased a Maytag washing machine, and also a Samsung refrigerator. The washer was in stock, but the refrigerator was not, and needed to be ordered. I was told that the washer would be delivered that following Thursday (the day they deliver to my area), and that the refrigerator would be in on the 20th, and delivered that Saturday. The first call I received was from "L", telling me that my refrigerator did not show up on the truck that day, and in the same conversation she said that she did not know why they would have said that because they don't even get a truck on that day.... The next week, the same thing. Sorry, it didn't show up on the truck. Only this time I received a phone call asking how the delivery went... The following week, I was assured by a gentleman that called me, that it would be in on the following Monday, and delivered that Thursday. On that Tuesday, I receive a call from "L", saying that "yay, my fridge has arrived! But they are all filled up for deliveries and it will have to be next week". At this point, I had been without a refrigerator for almost a month. The kicker to all of these stories and dishonesty, when the delivery people came with the fridge, I was told that it had been sitting in the warehouse for two weeks, with my name on it, and they were wondering why it hadn't been delivered yet. I will never be buying anything from this store again.

Went there to pick up our new refrigerator last week, mike was our first contact in the store and was very rude, short, and unprofessional. He made us feel like we were an anoyance to him. Such poor customer skills we were amazed he was employed there. The sad thing was when I called the manager this week to discuss this she told me he was the owner! Our family will never shop there again.

The service guy I spoke with was extremely helpful. I was looking for a boot dryer. They don't sell them but he told me of two other businesses that do and even knew the prices.
