Scottish Inns

We found the Scottish Inn to be clean, bed comfortable and bathroom clean. Adequate towels, etc. for a one night stay. Check in was uneventful with the clerk being appropriately friendly. Traffic from Rt. 84 could be heard and although it did not bother us, if you are a light sleeper it could be a concern. Water in the sink took an extremely long time to get hot and then did not sustain that temp and became cool. The shower was adequately warm. The address given for the Inn on their website took us west on Rt. 6 which was incorrect. It is east of Milford. The clerk said he would make the change. If in the area again we would probably choose to stay here as it was quite economical.

Very clean inn. 2nd time here. Right next door is a stream liner dinner with any type of food you want. We had the Greek spinach pie and salad. Very yummy.

Overall nice place. We got one of the suits on the end and it was very spacious with a kitchen area, living space, a bathroom, 2 televisions, and 2 nice sized beds. The only negatives were flat pillows and no pots/pans/silverware for the kitchen.

I recently reserved a room with Scottish Inn Milford. Shortly before reaching there, I had a tire blowout. Snow everywhere, 12 degree weather, the whole nine yards. The manager was very understanding, and made sure I wasn't charged for the night I missed. I cannot speak more of their professionalism and demeanor. Definitely will get my business again.
