Staff is always friendly at the ticket counter and food courts. Staff at the arcade desk are especially nice and patient with younger kids and never rush them to make decisions when redeeming tickets for prizes. Bathrooms and theatres are always clean but the kids booster seats always seem dirty and sticky. You can purchase your tickets online and do not need to wait in line at the ticket counter.

The movie hasn’t even started and it’s already a horrible experience. I will not be returning to this theatre due to the fact that the seats are extremely outdated and uncomfortable.

I love to watch movies here but most of the time there is no one working and it feels like a ghost town.

We arrived just before the movie started, having purchased our tickets online, only to be informed by the staff that our tickets were actually for a different cineplex—despite having booked through their official website.nnTo our frustration, we were told this was a recurring issue that many customers faced, yet corporate was aware and had done nothing to address it. As a result, we had to wait an extra hour for the next showing, turning what was meant to be a fun movie night with the kids into a much later outing than planned.nnUpon entering the cinema, we were met with an unkempt and filthy environment. The floors were littered with trash, and the chairs were sticky and visibly dirty. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I will not be returning to this theater.

The state-of-the-art movie theaters provided an immersive cinematic experience, and the overall cleanliness and comfort enhanced my visit. The addition of an arcade section was a pleasant surprise, offering a fun and engaging option for entertainment before or after a movie. The friendly staff and well-maintained facilities make Scotiabank Theatre Chinook a standout choice for a night out at the movies.
