Scotiabank Theatre Chinook

I went to watch a movie at Cineplex inside the Scotia Theatre.nnWhile the movie experience was good, the Pop Corn we got was the worst I ever had. They had just the salted option and it must have been made by Lot's wife.nnThe games corner also was quite fun and the highlight of the outing for me.

Scotiabank Theatre Chinook exceeded my expectations with its top-notch facilities and entertainment options. The state-of-the-art movie theaters provided an immersive cinematic experience, and the overall cleanliness and comfort enhanced my visit. The addition of an arcade section was a pleasant surprise, offering a fun and engaging option for entertainment before or after a movie. The friendly staff and well-maintained facilities make Scotiabank Theatre Chinook a standout choice for a night out at the movies.

I went here to see Dune 2 in iMax, there theatre was nice and the chairs were comfortable enough! But I don’t think I would return, I would much rather go to one of the other theatres with really comfortable seating like the reclining two-seater couches. But if you prefer iMax the sound and size of the screen was awesome here! I wasn’t too happy with their menu, and options for drinks. There is only like 5 options for bottled drinks here, not a good variety. Unfortunately when I went, the 3 vending machines with other bottled beverages was shut down, so not great timing. But overall our experience here was decent!

UPDATE: We enjoy the seating in this theatre. New movies are always available here.nnThis is one of the best cinemas in town. They carry all the latest movies with decent sized theaters.nnI have never had a bad experience here. The theatre popcorn is decent and fulfilling. The other concessions provide alternatives to popcorn and nachos.nnBecause it is at one end of Chinook Mall, there's plenty of parking around this Cineplex. I always appreciated the appeal of a theatre attached to a mall. It allows me to consider dinner before or after a movie in addition to getting some shopping done.

Pros: Less crowd, easy parking, faster check-innnCons: outdated, need major renovations, seats are not comfortable at all, some seats are broken.
