Scotiabank Theatre Chinook

Came here on a Tuesday 10::00 not busy at all theatre and it is gross had to stand outside and wait for it to be cleaned will not be going there again popcorn everywhere looks like it haven’t been cleaned in 2 years. Those are only photos in our small area manager was good when I told her but shouldn’t have to wait outside the theatre 5 mins to movie.

HIGHLY Disappointed with the online/mobile app pick up. My order was being prepared at 6:25pm. After waiting patiently for 20 min by the pick up shelf, I finally asked someone what was going on. I explained i was waiting for 20 mins they grabbed my popcorn and told me to head over to get my smoothie where I was rudely greeted with MOBILE PICK UP IS OVER THERE!nnSo waiting for 25 min to get something that was supposed to be convenient and ready when I got there was just a disaster. Almost missed the start time to the film.nnThere were no apologies, no explanation, just felt like I was a big bother and I was getting in their way?!?!nnWHY?nnI would really appreciate a response.nnThank younBrett W.

I’ve been going to this theatre since I was a kid, long before they got rid of a lot of the Egyptian stuff. Staff there are always nice, no complaints there. A couple went out of their way to help me the other day at the time of writing this. They also know their movies and are passionate about them. The theatre itself is… a tad dated, and I miss the old version of it, but it’s still good and one of, if not the only theatre in the city now to show international movies, such as Anime movies. Got a sizeable arcade to kill time with a prize corner, too.

Not clean enough but easy to find the auditoriums. To avoid extra charges, take the tickets in person inside the cineplex. And don’t worry about the parking, here you can find all the time.

Second time I asked for layered butter and payed for it but did not receive that.nOnly reason I did not go ask for another bag is because stopping my movie experience - is an inconvenience to me as well. Disappointing none the less.nnAlso was looking forward to the wicked movie, hoping to get some merch. Was severely underwhelmed at the selection they had for day two. Could not even get a commemorative cup.nnOverall bad experiences, consecutive.
