Landmark Cinemas 10 Shawnessy Calgary

This has to be my favorite theater. I really like the plush seats that recline and the option to upgrade to the premier seats is nice because you can actually cuddle with your partner and bring a nice little blanket. The seats are heated and you get a side table to put all your stuff on. It's a really luxurious experience.nnThe online booking is easy and they've now added an option where you can actually get your ticket refunded up to 4 hours before the movie if your plans change. As a single mom who is always having plans in flux that feels like a very nice option.

I love this theatre it has great seats but I went to see Supper Man in the Sumer and was stopped at the ticket booth to put my tote and jacket in the car. I guess the don’t want me to bring outside food and my water bottle is fine but that was not ok. I will NEVER buy food from the concessions there, it is a matter if spite now. Just wanted you to know since I’m still thinking about it months later

This place is wild - massive!nWe had purchased tickets for a special showing online in advance, so cannot speak to that part of the experience. The whole lobby funneled us into a self-serve style concession- instead of big fridges to grab drinks from there's fridge-sized warmers with all prepackaged popcorn! Complete with instructions on how to assemble multipacks of that’s the usual order. Large electronic signs showed clear pricing and where to find things. We got cups and then self-served soda from the super-customizable Coke machines.nStaff was present to scan us into the theatre area, and helped direct us as there's two floors of theatres. I wish the seat numbers or a map was on the way into the theatre so we could go in the door for the side we need. Large reclining seats in pairs were comfy.nWe did need to leave mid-show for a bathroom break, and the staff pointed us to where it was hidden behind pillars, and remembered us so we didn't have to scan our tickets to get back in.nIf I lived closer we'd totally be here more often!

this is the worst movie theater ever. me and my friend came in and while waiting for the movie went downstairs and asked an employee if it was free refills on popcorn because we were unsure. the employee said go to the snack bar and ask for a top off. so we did. long story short after telling the people behind the snack bar what happened we didn’t get the top off which we were fine with. We then went to refill our sodas because no where is there a sign saying no refills, no workers are there to help by the soda and it’s not behind any counter. the managers then came up to us got mad for asking for free refills and then refilling the non refillable soda which no one would no is not ok we then got escorted out and received no refund. the 2 managers. a red hair women and a taller white man were very rude not considerate and all me and friend wanted to do was see about refills and watch our movie. actually terribly run terrible managers and terrible theatre. please just go to cineplex.

We used to love this cimema, until today when they didn't allow us to enter because our backpack included laptop, one french fries and two burgers. They carry only pre-cooked cold pizza, hot-dogs, popcorn and chips. We don't eat any of those food. What about people who can't eat those food. Very sad they started checking backpacks and not allowing food which they don't carry there. We had to return the tickets and we will never go to this cinema ever again.
