I live in a small town in BC. I’ve been looking for a pair of Bogs for a few months without any luck on the style that I wanted. On my last Google search after Christmas , this store came up with the boots in stock. I read about the store and it looked great. The online ordering was simple, shipping was included and they arrived even before they were promised which was very quick with a personal note of thanks on the receipt. I would recommend this business to anyone and really appreciated the great service!

This is a nice local store with a good selection of shoes and thoughtful employees. I had previously written a negative review after having a not great experience here but an employee of the store almost immediately reached out to address the situation, apologize and explain the misunderstanding. She was incredibly gracious and kind about the situation and I really appreciated her thoughtfulness. I will continue to look for shoes here in the future.

They have limited variety but trust me, it's a very beautiful collection, you'll love everything they've at their store!! I also got a good deal for winter boots that I purchased! I would definitely recommend it to my friends!!

Fabulous independent with chain store prices, the type of place we in England are losing more of everyday. I truly envy Montreal's ability to create a climate where places like Schreter's can thrive. There is something at every price point and for every season. Great service and personalised service too -  it was lovely to hear all those stories about the visits from Leonard Cohen. Thanks for a great experience, and a great shirt.

Schreter's was so accommodating and they really put in the effort to help me get my winter boots during the first day of snow.  On the first day of snow, I wore my sneakers until they were sopping wet. My family was visiting the week after with my winter boots in hand, but the snow came earlier than expected and I realized I would have to buy winter boots. I saw their store on Google Maps and the delivery was estimated to be about 2 business days. They called me after I made the purchase online, where I off-handedly mentioned that I chose the delivery option because I physically couldn't go out to their store even though the store was close to my home because I didn't have the footwear for it. The woman on the phone and I laughed about it, and hours later, she called back to share that they were expediting my delivery so I could receive it the night of. I was SO shocked because the original delivery was planned for the day after, but now, I was able to attend my classes.  Anyway, I was not expecting to receive high-quality winter boots the NIGHT of my purchase, and I'm really really thankful to your guys' care and effort :  It made my life so much easier and if I ever need footwear again, I will definitely return. And hopefully in person :

I was looking for a specific shoe. I'd looked everywhere and it was sold out, then I came upon Schreter's. I was beyond excited to find them, they are in Montreal and I am in Ontario. I ended up making a mistake on my payment having never used PayPal before. I was immediately contacted via phone by the store informing me that they were aware of my mistake and had held my shoe for me to order again. I received my shoes after payment within 2 business days, my invoice even had a personalized note thanking me for my purchase. Everything about this store is wonderful. I highly recommend them. Product and customer service is wonderful. Thank you Schreters's!

Friendly, quality products and a comfortable shopping environment. Unlike the big-box shoe stores, I felt welcomed, not ignored and rushed. High-quality selection of footwear. You can see why they have been in business so long!

Fast shipping, great prices and super accommodating when the shoe size I bought was too small!! Such a great shoe store and will definitely be recommending!

Excellent customer service. Was looking for someone very specific, for my 90 year old dad who was going into hospital for cancer surgery. They had exactly what I was looking for and the woman even called me at home on the Sunday, when I sent them an email because I messed up the online order.  Great people and products. Have already placed a second order, this time for myself.  Highly recommend Schreter!
