Schooner Fish & Chips

Don't let the picture fool you. Sadly, all batter and a very thin overcooked piece of halibut...so dry and hard to chew. The fries were soggy and not salted. Small portions! They need to do better...fish and chips are a dime a dozen in Oshawa!

They have house specials daily which are very economical. Very good fish and chips, mind you I'm a halibut person, the haddock is exceptional as well. Very friendly service should you attend the location, extremely accommodating.

They have great deals, but unfortunately our “take-out” experience was only subpar. The fries were incredibly soggy, and the halibut was mediocre at best. We may return again in the future and try sitting in to see if the quality gets better.

Phone is always busy, have called at least a dozen times. Went to Wimpy's Diner for their fish & ships special. They answered their phone on the second ring. Food was Delicious!
