Tried this spot around the block and I was greeted right away. You can tell that it’s a family owned business. I ordered the Jerk chicken pasta and it was delicious. Real authentic Jamaica sauces and everything was cooked right.  I will be revisiting this bistro again.  I recommend this place if you are looking for something fast, good and authentic.

Not real Caribbean food. Microwave food.  *UPDATE* I’ve added a video I took.  Dec 10th 2022 I distinctly remember the server that night taking the rice out of a foil tray, going to the back and quietly starting the microwave.  I think it was BBQ OR BBQ Jerk chicken As you can see it just looks based on, not baked or tossed like traditional ‘Caribbean’ chicken. The chicken was also NOT cooked fully.  As well as an excessive amount of gravy, that did not have flavour.  I did call & ask to speak to the chef who wasn’t in & I also brought it back. We were SICK after a few bites.  Reels on IG looked great & that’s what initially led me to trying their food but I was disappointed for sure.  The paintings on the wall were dope!   I enjoy trying new food spots in my city & giving REAL reviews. Quality Food & flavour mean a lot to me.

Ordered moments ago. Best part of the meal is the ketchup I got from my fridge as the fries had no taste. Also ordered the shrimp and chicken pasta with the “signature jerk sauce,” more like soup. Spice is doesn’t taste like jerk at all just pepper. Do not recommend and definitely will not order again.

Hard to find but probably because I'm oblivious. The gentlemen who helped my friend and I was very friendly and nice. Food is quite affordable, great for students. I got the jerk chicken daily combo which came with a chicken leg, chicken thigh, a good portion of fries, a can of pop and a plastic ramekin of hot sauce for $9.99. We had to wait for ~20 minutes, it seemed like it was just the one person there at lunch, but no big deal. Fries were a little soggy but I'm sure being underneath the hot chicken in a plastic container while we walked it back to the college to eat did not help. Chicken was good. Hot sauce was very hot but I liked it. Will definitely be returning to try the curry goat roti and the oxtail dinner. 4.5/5

We came here because we saw a post of the jerk patty combo and it looked delicious! We got dinner for 2 for just under $13, jerk patty sandwich, fries and a pop. Plus the gentlemen working gave us a free hot sauce and coleslaw! Everything was absolutely delicious and I'm so glad we went. We will definitely be back ! Quick and friendly service and the food surely didn't dissapoint !

Rice is tasty and soft.The chicken is tender and falling off the bone nicely and has a nice flavour as well.I would definitely recommend to grab a bite to eat at this restaurant.

One of my favourite places in Oshawa for sure! I tried the chicken pasta and it tasted amazing. The service is even more amazing, my boyfriend and I were offered more sauces or water throughout our lunch. Will definitely come again!

I have had takeout and dine in many times. They have some of the best coleslaw I’ve ever tasted the chicken is cooked to perfection. Seasoned wonderfully and the prices are good, 10/10 would recommend. Great service, great food

First time trying this place and I know for a fact it won’t be my last. Great family owned spot as the individuals there are very friendly and have a variety of options and to choose from. I got the jerk chicken dinner and noticed that they also had a daily special which was a jerk chicken patty with coco bread so you know I had to get that as well. Both were great and very filling. The prices are very affordable and worth it for what you get. I would definitely recommend. If you’re looking for quality Jamaican food check this place out!

I love this place. I use to order sunrise, but this is WAY better! I love the coleslaw; we always order extra with our BBQ chicken! The jerk fries are yummy too!
