The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Oshawa

Excellent meal, 12 oz sirloin steak and garlic mashed potatoes with fried beets. The lady that was looking after our table had a great sense of humor, Looking forward to going back soon. The place was spotless, large parking lot, the only thing we weren't aware of is that it didn't open until 4:00 p.m. but now that I know that won't be an issue next time. Parking: It is right next to the Oshawa center, there were lots of parking spots in the Keg parking lot and in the Oshawa center parking lot. We got there when they opened at 4:00 p.m. and when we left at 6:00 p.m. the Keg parking lot was about 75% full.

The Keg never disappoints for us. Excellent atmosphere in the new restaurant, great service from attentive staff. Our go to is the bone in Rib steak, and the Filet Mignon with Lobster tail. This time we had the holiday appetizer of Ceasars Brussels sprouts along with Calamari fritti, and Cocktails to start. On the rare occasion that the Steak is not perfectly cooked to taste, this time they remove and replace it without question or delay. Landing on the Billy Miner pie for dessert is the perfect ending!

It was our first time at this location, I was pleasantly surprised that both the service & food were great! We ordered 2 kids meals, 3 main courses, appetizers & desserts as well. The kids meals were nothing special edible but didn’t stand out, not a big deal though however the rest of the food was good. I’m only giving it 4 stars, as I would want to go back again to see how consistent it is!

Food was absolutely delicious for my birthday dinner. Of course got the birthday dessert after and it was great. We didn't enjoy sitting right when you walk into the dining room, lots of traffic and not enough privacy but the waiter made up for that. Would probably go to another keg next time based on this experience.

This Keg location in Oshawa is newly renovated with a spacious dining area, lounge and heated patio. The service is always great here and the food satisfied all my cravings. The Prime Rib is my go-to but the Filet Mignon was delicious as well.

As always, The Keg delivers another outstanding meal. I've eaten at other locations, and this one was also a great spot. My friend and I both ordered steaks, and they were cooked to perfection. The starters and sides were also very well done. Our waitress was very nice and was a great help in guiding us through our choices. Thanks.

The Keg was busy for Wednesday when we went. We didn't want to wait 1.5 hours so they offered a seat at the bar area. We wanted to sit at a little table but they said it was reserved. But no one came to the reserved table even when we were done dinner and leaving. The food looked good and was good, but at 1st I had to send my steak back because it was undercooked!!! Every time i go to the Keg they undercook my steak. Even though I told them that this happens all the time and asked them to cook my steak medium well with a trace of pink. I always get medium rare! So that's why I have given the food only 3 not 4 or 5. Not a great experience. I would think that at a steak house, they should know how to cook a steak to perfection!

We arrived at 4 p.m. when they opened, but did not realize that we needed a reservation, so we ended up ordering take-out and went home to enjoy in the comfort of our home. Food was delicious and we all enjoyed our meals.Food: 5/5

Hands down the best steak in Canada . Delicious, huge portions and the staffs were very friendly. I’m definitely going back there soon.

Had to have the French Onion soup as per radio station saying how great it was good too! Prime rib for dinner never disappointed. Was an excellent night of fine dining.
