Story

When Schnitzels was created, we set out to give Cornwall a dining lounge & nightspot laced with a vibe, siphoned from the streets of Europe. Influenced by Venetian cafes, Welsh pubs, English nightspots, Czech favourites and Italy's love for food, we infused as much European flavour as we could muster. We ordered the German plate, and the portion was generous and flavorful, especially the schnitzel. It's definitely a dish you can share with someone. However, we found the sauerkraut less enjoyable and would not recommend it. We also tried the salmon plate, which was quite good, though it was a bit too salty.nThe service was slower than expected, taking 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our plates. During the wait, the staff frequently checked if we wanted drinks, which might be a strategy to encourage drink orders while waiting. The place was bustling and very busy.
We did a quick road trip from Montreal City exploring the area and we came to this restaurant for dinner. The food was good, portions are great, beer is good and the service was amazing. There was a waitress which was so kind, smiley and helpful that made our time there so enjoyable. We will definitely come back if we are around.
I absolutely love this restaurant. I love 1.75 hours away from it but make a trip at least once a year to eat here. Amazing food and they have my favourite beer on draft which is super hard to come by Erdinger Dunkle. Highly recommend. I've posted a pic of the schnitzel trio plate comes with chicken, pork, and cheese schnitzel, potatoes salad, garden salad, and choice of side; close up of the cheese schnitzel posted as well and the spaetzel Mac n cheese SUPER cheesy and delicious!
We visited for the first time and it definitely won't be our last. Atmosphere is great, love the decor. Staff is great, Brianna was our waitress and she was lovely. And now the food... omg, the food. We ordered the classic pork schnitzel, I got the spaetzle and my hubby got the fries. Best schnitzel and spaetzle I've ever had. The schnitzel was thick and cooked to perfection, the spaetzle was so buttery. And the salad, they need to bottle their house dressing, especially for us folks who live far away. I would have stocked up. Hubby said the fries were great home cut but after tasting my spaetzle, he wil be getting it the next time.nWe will definitely be back, Cornwall is on the list for day trips, just so we can eat here again.
We had a fantastic Lunch experience at Schnitzels. I visited with a group of six friends, and we were all thoroughly impressed with the delicious food and the inviting ambiance.nnWe tried a variety of dishes, including the wood oven Diablo pizza, fish and chips, and hamburgers. Everything was cooked to perfection, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The Diablo pizza was especially memorable, with just the right amount of spice to satisfy our taste buds.nnOur lovely host, Tina, made the experience even more enjoyable with her friendly and attentive service. The prices were reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise given the high quality of the food and atmosphere.nnOverall, I highly recommend Schnitzels to anyone looking for a great meal in Cornwall. We will definitely be returning!
