Ye Olde English Fish "n" Chip

Nothing short of amazing.. very simple facility.. Clean and basic..100% about quality of food.. the most aching amazing.. had halibut and chips.. Best fries in very many years.. And fish was outstanding.. I've had couple others this summer that were also extremely good... This is better.

Your phone called me off knowing that I like fish and chips and Cornwall and he said let's try this place so we did. It was a sunny day people were out on the street smiling and this place was british-style fish and chips with everything stylized to be British from menus to placemats to the British flag outside flying in the Wind. However our waiter as wonderful as he was was actually from France. A little bit of irony there. The take-home box was also stylized from the restaurants and their overall sense of quality service and okay food along with the environment and the stylization of brutishness made it kind of fun. Relocation reasonable value stylization 10 on 10 as was the waiter they offer different style fish and chips and I pick the Jamaican spice 1 but they're all kind of mild and not very dangerous and this one wasn't very Jamaican but it was fun nonetheless. I'd give the quality of their food 4 but the taste of 3 on 5

I ordered the one-piece cod dinner. A few people have told me that authentic UK chips are not exactly the same as Cornwall French Fries, but I'm going to overlook that because these fries were a step above the mushy fries that show up in poutine. One other slight discrepancy is that the fish and chips are fried in a mixture of beef and vegetable oils. The flavor is still impeccable. The owners are indeed from the UK, and have been running this store for years (with a small hiatus to rebuild after a tragic traffic accident). The store is small and is built around the kitchen so you can see your food being fried right after you order it. There are several UK snacks available at the counter to purchase. The place always seems to be hopping with dine-in customers and carry-out orders.

This is a very delicious and affordable to everyone fish nd chip place. The waitress is very friendly. The service is super fast. I highly recommend it.
