Spent a week here around the turn of the century. Building's an eyesore and a blight on downtown. Plumbing is broken - every cell had some contraption devised by the inmates to lessen the sound of constantly running faucets. Smell of raw sewage comes up from vents in the floor if you move the phone book that sits over it. Food's not so bad and your fellow guests are a mixed bag. I know it's jail and all that but when you hafta kick a toilet to stop it from flushing... well, water ain't free and that's your tax dollars going down the pan...
