Scheffel's Hideaway Campground

Super nice facility. The camp ground is very well kept. The showers and bathrooms are clean and modern. They offer firewood and Ice at the facility and will deliver it right to your site. The owners are some of the nicest we have come accross. If your looking to stay in the area I would highly recommend this campground.

This campground is very nice. Ice age trails and walking and biking trails. The owner's are some of the best owner's I have met. They are very accommodating. There's not a bad sight. I will keep coming back here.

Love this place. Clean, quiet, and easy access. Easy access to state trails and the beach. A lot of wild life can be seen on and nearby the campground. The owners are great and very helpful. Will definitely return.

Great campground! Far enough out of town to be peaceful, but close enough to access everything. Our site was so level, I wouldn't have had to put down the jacks, other than for stabilizing the RV. The layout is great, and there is nice space between the sites. Our site was open enough to get good satellite reception. We enjoyed getting on the bike trail to Point Beach State Park right from the back of the campground. We met both of the owners - very friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were spotless, and conveniently located. We stayed in site #28 in a 40' Class A Motorhome.
