A very nice place to stay. The hosts are accommodating and the place is clean and maintained. The bathroom in Bessie’s Chamber is tiny but understandable as I’m sure it was added when converted to a B&B. If I could give half stars, I would rate it 4.5.

In a nutshell, attention to detail. This is a really extraordinary B&B, unlike any we've ever stayed at before. Beautiful, well furnished, and the hosts are attentive without being overbearing. Conveniently located, very nice garden. Had problems with the WiFi, but I have no doubt they will get that issue resolved soon.

We had a great week-end celebrating a birthday. The B&B couldn't be more charming. Their attention to details and providing the extra touches that I requested for the birthday made for a perfect week-end. The whole experience from the beautiful area, Lake Michigan, hiking, maritime museum, quaint shops, fine dinning, made for a memorable get-away. The whirlpool tub and champagne also added to the fun!!!!
