Overall, Scarboro Crescent Park is a fantastic choice for outdoor enthusiasts seeking both relaxation and adventure.
It's supposed to be a good place. There were a few guys taking pictures and videos of couples seated far away without their knowledge.nnThe rest rooms were closed, and they were stinking like dead meat that could be smelled 15 feet away.
Not much to do. Cliff area has been blocked off by the City for safety reasons so not much of a view. It was cloudy today so we were not really able to see the beautiful blue view but saw the lake from a height and a view of the marina. It was ok but wouldn't come back.
It's a large park that has hours of trails to explore. I love this park except for the flat, grassy part at the entrance because it is always flooded. I think it is laid over the wrong kind of substrate like clay. It doesn't dry out until July. Your shoes will be soaked and if you bring a dog, your dog will be soaked. My advice is to walk on the street, around the tennis court and get to the trails at the edge of the cliff as soon as possible, avoiding the flat grassy part as much as possible.
It is a nice location. However, this is my 4th attempt to get here. In summer, each time it was blocked by police because of over crowding. So given it was fall, I wanted to see what has been famously sang in Drake’s songs. The beach is small with a thin trail of dark sand mixed with rocks. The trees were nice and the view was nice. However it takes me about 40mins to get here. We arrived in Fall at 11 and left about 12. By then the police were coming to monitor and start the traffic blocking process. It’s a place that one must see at least once in your life but to finally arrive here is an active process in which you would have to come early. I hope this review helps.
