We have had great experiences at this store, especially the pharmacy. They are always patient with questions that I might have and explain everything I need to know. They also caught a perscription error by a doctor a few years ago. I love their hours and that they have a drive thru makes it easy with kids!.
Horrible customer experience at Ellerslie Save Ons Foods this evening with Ethan. He was extremely rude, arrogant and not helpful. I simply wanted to price match the cheese I paid 14.99 for because it was only 5.97 at superstore. Save on Foods is grossly overpriced! I didnt even realize i paid that price and forgot to do a price match. Anyways he was so rude and condescending to tell me I cant do a retroactive price match. When I told him ill just return the cheese then he refused! Even though it was within 14 days and I had the receipt. He tried claiming a significant portion was eaten which is a lie! Less than 1/4 was. In today's tough economy I was just trying to save a few dollars and he tried to shame me for it. It was the worst customer service ive ever received at Save ons he even called his manager Brock to back him up.nSave on foods is a RIP OFF. So overpriced especially their steaks! Shop anywhere else! I will no longer shop there because they treat their customers crappy when we're the reason you have a job Ethan! He also told me he won't compromise his job for me ..nLike it was too much. I took my cheese my receipt, walked out and have told all my friends and family not to shop at save on foods anymore
Produce was great. Cashier, Jay, not so great. We were told if we didn't want the bags so heavy then we should buy smaller bags. Everything went into 1 bag pretty much ... produce, canned goods.
Please don’t put fresh produce into the same bag as frozen goods or heavy and potentially damaging rimmed objects like cans.nYou wouldn’t store your fresh lettuce in the freezer, even for a minute, for a salad later.nYour staff has ruined many fresh produce purchases by putting them in with frozen goods and with canned goods.nTeach your staff how the store is laid out and why.nWhy the entry is at the produce and fresh section, not frozen section.nNotice how people put their purchases on the conveyor belt.nPack them in that order if it makes sense.nMany of us put them on in the way we would like them packed. Many don’t, but many of us do and the way some of you pack makes absolutely no sense at all.nIf we go to the freezer section last, they are usually on the belt first. Then there will be other items from the inner aisles.nThen there will be the more delicate fresh produce items. This should make sense, but I think many of your staff don't shop like this themselves and have no idea, so you have to educate them. Otherwise, many of us will go elsewhere where we can pack our own groceries and you will lose business.

She’s not just a staff member—she’s a true ambassador for this store and the Save-On Foods brand. Her professionalism and kindness make shopping here an outstanding experience. Thank you, Chant, for your remarkable service!
