Save-On-Foods in Canmore was a lifesaver for our 3-night apartment stay! We were impressed by the wide selection, especially the fresh and abundant variety of vegetables. It made cooking in our rental easy and enjoyable. A convenient and well-stocked grocery store.

We came here to get some groceries and ended up at the flowers and potted plants section. It really felt like Spring in here! The colourful bouquets of fresh flowers are so pretty and selling at a good price. They have varieties of Phalaenopsis Orchids, Cymbidium Stems, Easter Lilies, Tulips, fragrant Hyacinths, Carnations, Oriental Lilies, Hydrangeas, Kalanchloes, Chrysanthemums, Tropical Succulents, Cacti & Succulent Mix in tapered glass and etc. The flowers and plants are locally grown and they are so healthy looking. We can’t resist and ended buying a big bouquet of flowers together with some groceries at this Save-On-Foods!
Well, it was my first time as a visitor to Canmore and we went to buy some food, spices and consumables at Save on Foods. On my way back when we exit the store.I accidently dropped one cardmom jar outside the store, which we just bought. The store manager saw me and offered me to get another one from the store free of cost. Well, initially i hesitated but he followed me and ask the cashier not to charge me for the replacement. It was a really nice gesture shown by the manager. Within a minute I got another jar replaced, Although it was my mistake. I really appreciate this act of kindess shown by him and encourage everyone to visit the store and support business.
This grocery store is a hit or a miss. Some of the staff is great, others are very moody and unwilling to answer a question. I often get charged the wrong price and have to go in for a partial refund. My latest incident was some cheese that showed up on sale on the app but the cashier told me because it was new packaging, it was full price despite it being the same type and same weight as what was displayed as on sale on the app. I am extra cautious from now on if I go in
