I had a great experience at the Cake Centre. I had some disappointments in the past, but I decided to give them another chance and I’m really glad I did.nA few weeks ago I ordered a cake for my daughter. She had drawn a very specific design, and the employee who helped us I believe her name is Fernanda did her best to make it as close as possible to what my daughter imagined. It turned out beautiful.nI liked it so much that I came back to order another cake with her, and it was just as lovely. The employee was very kind, attentive, and clearly cares about her work. Thank you!

Very expensive, but nicely laid out.nWide aisles is a plus.nA large selection of produce, dairy, and frozen products.nHard to get someone to help or answer questions. They don't make eye contact and obviously avoid you.

Save-On foods is one of the 3 places to shop for food in Ladner, so there are not many choices, but it is pretty good, just make sure to check expiration dates!

Be aware they advertise their prices by the pound, but prices at the till are by the kilogram, I recommend you check closely as they often do not convert correctly, I’m sorry but $1.69/lbs does not equal $4.41/kg. Why make it so confusing? I realize you’ve only had 50+ years to figure it out, but the official system of measure in Canada is the metric system. I wonder how many people never notice, but I guess it’s ok to steal from people who are not strong at arithmetic. Mr. Pattinson your billions are not enough, you feel the need to steal from the working folk? You say you would like to follow up, I have two questions questions for you to answer here, as I am sure others would like to know.n#1. Why do you advertise in imperial measures yet charge by metric units, if your purpose is not to confuse people?n#2. Why do you advertise a lower price but charge a higher price at the till?

I went to purchase a strip loin and this young man at the counter was very generous and helped me learn more about meat. I believe the gentleman’s name was Calum.
