I've shopped here for almost 20 years and I've never had a problem. Always good quality produce, meats, deli, everything. I thought it was pretty neat that they are the first grocery store to sell wine in Prince George too!

As a first visit to save-on store#967 in spruceland,prince George BC by 29th AUG-2017 by noon .As one of my friend say this store have lot of stuffs when compare to other stores so i visited with my friend as of hospitality the staff is doing great but all went in vain after i met SUPER HERO/ZERO in the store Mr. BRAIN ( just only in his name not in his head) and surprised he is a store manager LOL .... Well, the story being....i walked around the snacks row where i tasted the snacks in the box by taking out in scoop and put in my hands for the freshness and super hero/zero Mr.brain (STORE MANAGER) appeared there like a hero/zero asking us are you going to buy the entire box (Is it a right way to ask the customers?)i asked him why you asking this ,he said that i am using my finger to taste it. I asked him where is the tasting spoon he start speaking in different language which i didn't understand. hey,Mr.BRAIN (hero/zero) as of basic food safety your scoop as to change once its get dirty where its not happen in your store also there is no scoop in few bins its lock of supervision . Also check your ready eat vegetables and fruits section its all screwed where rotten strawberry in box leaking the water to cherry's near to it .....for your knowledge its called CROSS CONTAMINATION as well lots of flies around the fruits which causes diarrhea,vomiting etc. Alright ,i am coming back to the story whats wrong with our SUPER HERO/ZERO -Mr.BRAIN (STORE MANAGER) is he don't know how talk or explain to the customer.All the customer visiting your store are NOT graduated form food safety course as well Mr. brain(zero). If he (MR.NO BRAIN) don't know how to BEHAVE in hospitality front line better ask him to stay in his room by wearing the name badge that i am MR.BRAIN -SUPER HERO/ZERO (store manager). He as to learn hospitality from his /her staff . My friend say that due to super zero like Mr.brain the store is not busy now-a-days.ALSO ITS MY LAST VISIT TO THIS STORE.Kindly send super hero/zero-MR.BRAIN(STORE MANAGER) to CIRCUS (as a joker) not in hospitality front line like save-on to spoil there reputation in market as well as in front of public. Also i didn't seen much stuff when compare to other store in town as well as the price is high.

Convenient location. Pricey grocery option but lots of selection. Parking in this area is a nightmare.

Cleanest best selection grocer in town. Best meat and produce quality. Prices are bit high
