Seven nights a week, live local bands take the stage at Montreal’s hottest jazz bar and bistro. Modavie’s spirited setting encompasses two intimate floors and sets the scene for a night of great tunes, top dining and generous pastis toasting. The bistro’s far-reaching wine menu hits just the right notes and helps round off succulent lamb, fish, beef, duck and inspired pasta dishes.

Absolutely great place to be for a night near the port in Montreal! Not only their food is perfectly cooked, but their Jazz night makes your night even better. I enjoyed it for my last night in Montreal. I’d recommend it

I went for lunch because it was near my hotel and came recommend. The food was decent but the steak could have used more seasonings. The snail pastry was good.  3 stars because my meal was about $60cad and could have been much better for that price.
