Excellent cocktail bar in Old Montreal. With the first read of the menu, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. But after I tried my first drink, I didn’t need more convincing that this place knows what they’re doing. They use sherries & vermouths in some of the best ways possible, to create unique, delicious & well-balanced drinks. The drinks, service & ambiance were all incredible & I will surely go back here the next time I find myself in Montreal!
Great cocktail selection and excellent service. We especially liked the mocktail selection. Great place for a casual drink amongst friends and colleagues that is not too busy or noisy. Deduct 1 star for the food menu: the selection is limited to charcuterie and cheese and is expensive for the quantity of the food. Most items are $30-45 with tax for a small quantity. Would recommend revising the food menu and it would have made us stay longer if there were a few well priced food options.
Beautiful modern decor with great cocktails, ambience, and service. A great place to have a cocktail with friends and relax. It's a basement-level bar but you won't even notice because of the air-conditioning and thoughtful light. We also tried the basque cheesecake and enjoyed it. Only improvement would be to have one or two additional beer options.
Fantastic bar with tasty cocktails, a well organized/structured menu and beautiful atmosphere. I liked the selection of non-alcoholic cocktails as well. The tasting notes in the menu were very accurate. It wasn't too loud or crowded and the drinks came out quick. There were outlets at nearly each table which was a lifesaver since we all needed to charge our phones. Bathrooms are kind of situated in an odd place but they were very clean. Can't wait to come back to this hidden gem!
Beautiful evening spent in this lovely little cocktail bar. We went because we'd heard the cocktails were great didn't dissapoint buy we were pleasantly surprised by the brilliant food. 100% recommend.Food: 5/5
This bar was so cute, so clean and the staff was so kind. The cocktails were very strong as well. I love how they provide metal straws because the paper straws make the drink in my opinion not good. The design and character of the place is so hip and artistic. I got the mon sherry and sunfly and enjoyed both. I loved my bartender - he was so sweet and tried to speak to us even though his english was limited.
A truly lovely spot in old Montreal. I had the opportunity to visit twice in the last week and will certainly return. The cocktails were delicious and they have created a beautiful list of mocktails which look and taste mature and adult while being free of spirits. It feels very inclusive. I would say that the price of the charcuterie and cheese platters vs what you receive is what I would call “outrageous”. The profit margin is either far too high or you need to select a couple lower cost items to add to the platter. It’s important while drinking to have some substance. If this were improved, I’d consider this a go-to spot for 5 à 7 and for pre-post dinners in the area!
We had a great experience, the servers were delightful. The Drinks were really good and they were made quickly! My wife and I ordered a few non alcoholic beverages which they had quite a few on the menu. The staff let us keep our corner even though we had quite a few people popping in. We were advised that it was going to be one bill since we were over 6 people, but in the end they were kind enough to let us have separate bills.
A new bar in town that might be easy to miss at first as it’s located in the basement. Despite it’s basement location however, they have done an excellent job at the interior design… it features art-deco elements and furniture, it feels welcoming, spacious and a refreshing difference from the terraces on hot summer days where some air conditioning and shade are needed. I appreciated their presentation of three categories of cocktails… Aperitifs, Digestifs, and their wide range of non-alcoholic options. There’s a lot to select from on their menu but if you are feeling overwhelmed or unsure, the staff will be super informative and will help you find the perfect drink to kick off the experience. Give Bisou Bisou some love by visiting them. You won’t be disappointed.
Perfect ambiance with delicious and unique drinks! The service was amazing, the place was quiet enough to talk, especially when leaving the bustling streets. Google maps takes you a bit to the wrong place, so check for the sign outside the door and go down to the basement. Lovely experience!Service: 5/5
