We tried Sarang Kitchen for the first time today and absolutely loved everything — the food, the service and the cozy ambiance. We ordered the Sambal Oelek flavor and the tornado-cut chips, and both were fantastic! The portions are generous and perfect for sharing.nnThe staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable — they took the time to walk us through the different flavor profiles to make sure we had a great first experience. A huge bonus point for their amazing ethos of paying their employees fairly, which means they don’t encourage tipping. Love that for the staff — and for our wallets too!nnWe’ll definitely be back to try more flavors soon.
We visited Sarang Kitchen to try their hotpot, and it was absolutely worth it. The hotpot was tasty, fresh, and generous. We also ordered the appetizers mixed platter, which was equally enjoyable. The staff were helpful and attentive, and the restaurant even has a sensory room, which was quite an interesting touch.nnOverall, it was a very nice experience and definitely a place I’d recommend trying if you are fond of hotpots.
Wonderful place to get Korean fried chicken. I love the crispiness and tenderness, with unique flavors like “Golden Lava”. Sarang Platter and Sarang Feast are considered good value and generous. ambiance is cozy, with both traditional tables and beanbag seating, and the staff are generally described as kind and welcoming. Great staff as they are attentive and caring and friendly. The restaurant is halal-friendly which is an additional bonus. I highly recommended for its food and inclusive atmosphere. Enjoy.
I stopped in with a group of friends on Saturday afternoon and had a nice, chill experience.nAs a group we ordered the rice cake stew, hard case and sweet as wings, laksa cauliflower, pomegranate salad, squid rings and the kimche, truffle, and garlic butter fries.nWe loved everything except for the garlic butter fries which was just too sweet for our taste.nEverything else was fresh, spicy and flavorful with big portions. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Came here to get lunch after seeing all the Grady reviews. The food was good and differs from the traditional Korean restaurants nearby. It’s more like Korean style pub fare. Restaurant does not tip and suggest customers post reviews instead which I think is a great idea. Only downside is that the type of food being served is a bit limited, mostly fried chicken with a few appetizers.
