I went for a late night snack and on the way to the restaurant I felt a kind of nostalgia. Boyfriend & I were talking about stories from way back when we arrived in Canada as a teenager.nWe didn’t order much but it was enough. The server was friendly and fast. Even the restaurant decor reminded me of a different time.nThe food was alright. But the portion is huge.nThe whole night felt like it belonged to a different time period. A dream, that night, felt to me.
Yesterday, I attended a celebration at a restaurant to mark the birthday of one of my close friends, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience. The food exceeded expectations, but what truly stood out was the impeccable hospitality provided by the servers. Their warmth and friendliness made everyone feel incredibly welcome and at ease throughout the evening.nnDespite being a group of ten, we were well taken care of by three servers, one of whom I recall by the name John, as I glimpsed it on the bill. Each member of the team, including a lovely lady and two gentlemen, went above and beyond to ensure our enjoyment. Their frequent check-ins with genuine smiles and offers of assistance were greatly appreciated.nnThe highlight of the evening was undoubtedly when the servers gathered to sing the birthday song, creating an unforgettable atmosphere filled with joy . It's moments like these that truly elevate a dining experience, and I left with a deep appreciation for the exceptional service provided by the restaurant staff.nnI'm planning to revisit the restaurant primarily because of the exceptional service they offer. The level of care and attention from the staff truly stood out during my last visit, making it a memorable experience. When service is top-notch like that, it becomes a significant factor in my decision to return. I'm looking forward to enjoying their hospitality once again on my next visit.
There are many bbq places between Bathurst and Christie station and this is probably the best. The staff cooks the meat for you so you can trust that the food will taste amazing. We had the intestines and the pork belly which were delicious. Please know that like many a la carte kbbq place you will need to purchase 2 meats minimum. We were also given some yogurt as dessert! Highly recommended date place!
I recently stumbled upon Mapo and it has quickly become my go-to spot for Korean BBQ. Not only is the food delicious and top quality, but the experience overall is so enjoyable. The servers bring out food very quickly, are extremely attentive and cook the meat for you. I’ve never been to a KBBQ spot that does this! Environment, service & experience is 10/10.
You know the food and dining experience are amazing when you only have 2 photos to show. nnThe service here is incredible. The staff take care of the cooking, allowing you to enjoy your meal with your family and friends.nnThis will be my new go-to KBBQ spot!
