An Italian bakery in Toronto, open since 1969. We have a passion for food, coffee, and exceptional service.

Story

SanRemo Bakery has one mission: to use the finest ingredients and traditional methods to create and offer a diverse selection of Italian breads, fine foods, and desserts.

Located in Old Mimico, SanRemo Bakery has been serving the community and the GTA since 1969. The bakery was founded by Natale Bozzo and his brothers: Giuseppe, Peter, and Giancarlo. Passed down to the next generation, the bakery is now run by Natale’s sons: Nick, Edward, and Robert Bozzo. They are proud to continue the traditions set out by their family, but now with a modern Italian twist.

SanRemo Bakery sets itself apart from the competition. It is an inimitable establishment, offering exceptional homemade goods, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

With the contemporary remodel, the new spacious store allows for a unique shopping experience.

Sanremo is the neighbourhood store you see Vice documentaries about. It's the bustling, chaotic, passionate Italian deli of my dreams. A store which rises the real estate value of its surroundings by its sole existence. You can feel the sincerity and quality behind every product. The goal is clear; to serve us, the customers, something beautifully yummy and honest. No gimmicks nor tricks. A single visit and it has become my favorite store in Toronto. The only tragedy is I will never be able to taste everything they sell.
I have always tried the pastries when other people bring them to parties and get together. I finally made it down myself to see this Amazing bake shop for myself.nToday was about the cakes! I tried the Oreo cake, red, velvet cake, and a slice of Nutella cake!nOMG! To die for! They were all out of donuts and I found out that you have to come earlier in the day if you want to get to taste those. They sell out fast!nThe service was fantastic, fast and friendly!nI felt as though I was at a family get together the way they work together and treat their customers.nCan’t wait to go back and try those donuts! See you guys soon
One of the best bakeries in Toronto is on the East end.nnFamily owned and operated has been delivering amazing breads, pastries and hot table for decades .nnThere's virtually nothing that I wouldn't eat here. It's a good thing I don't live too close to it as I would be here on a daily basis and it would show.nnThe service here is always first class. The staff are super friendly and helpful.nnIt's a bit of everything inside between a coffee shop bakery hot table + more. If you haven't been to this place, you need to get out to Etobicoke and try SanRemo.
Walked in on a whim and walked out with over 100 bucks worth of pizza, sandwiches, and assorted bakery delights.nnGot home and took this picture of what was left before I got to it. What can I say that others haven't- The lineup is terrible, and the traffic around the bakery gives Manhattan chaos vibes, but the food absolutely slaps your mommas pants off!!
I finally came here to try their food TT. Everything was great as they look. There are so many options to choose from between savory and sweet. One time visit wasn’t enough for me to taste everything All the food were looking delicious. I really liked the pizza and pasta. They are changing the menus everyday so check out their instagram for update!nnIt’s a bit far from the downtown area but it’s definitely worth it to have a little trip. I’m coming back for more donuts
