The staff were extremely helpful! We had come to Winnipeg to visit family. The hotel we had originally booked was disgusting. In our search for somewhere else we came to the Sandman. The hostess was very pleasant. She took us on a tour, so we could see the room. It was clean! Yay!nAfter hearing our horror story of the night before, she upgraded our room at no charge. It made the whole weekend so much better! We will definitely stay there on our next trip!
I live far but choose this cause they had amazing service. Absolutely welcoming and very helpful and would choose this hotel any day for a special occasion or just want a clean and very accommodating and comfortable place to stay. I couldn’t get the basket they offered for complementary of my girlfriend’s birthday and said they couldn’t get it in time but gave me 30$! Towards the restaurant attached. Absolutely best hotel I’ve been to so far or least in Winnipeg the place to stay if you want a good place to rest the eyes when travelling or visiting or just a night to get out.
I checked into the hotel Thursday Jan 23rd in the afternoon. There was a bit of an issue when checking in. However The supervisor on duty was absolutely amazing. Not only did she set me up with a room upgrade at no cost but also reminded me of benefits to being a RSVP Diamond member Which in the many years staying at the hotel not a single person ever mentioned them.nnonly thing that always strikes me as weird, There is a RSVP line at the counter, Every time i go and stand in that line. It makes no difference on how many people who are at the counter. There is literally no benefit to having that check in line. Why is it there? It doesn't get you seen any quicker when checking in our out. I don't ask the front counter staff about it because this feels like its a management thing or a corporate thing. But it just doesn't make sense.nnAll that being said. I am and will continue to be a loyal customer to this hotel because of how the staff treat me when I am there. I wish I could remember the name of the lady that helped me out at check in because I would really like to have her recognized by the company for being amazing.
After dealing with West Jet cancelling my flight I had at the Sandman Winnipeg Airport. The service from calling for the shuttle to check in to my room was stressful. Aiesh and Lucy the front desk kind understanding friendly. Quick service. My room was clean very nice modern. The amenities are great.nWould recommend this hotel. Prices are good.

Despite being busy, she kindly took the time to show my friends the room, as they’re looking for a place to stay this coming March. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel genuinely welcomed. She’s a true asset to the team, and because of her outstanding service, I’m making my next booking today.
