Sandman Hotel Oakville

Lobby was nice and the steakhouse was good, especially for hotel food. The room was less nice... My non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and there were no less than 15 hairs (of all kinds) on the bathroom floor. Was definitely glad that I only had one night stay here.

We stayed here for one night. The location is decent and the decor is beautiful. Whomever tiled the hot tub did a terrible job as it’s uneven and there are smears of grout along the side. Nevertheless, thats esthetics and doesn’t really matter The front desk staff were efficient and moved us to a room facing the parking lot rather than the highway so we wouldn’t hear the traffic. Unfortunately we didn’t have a very pleasant stay. The fan/ac unit clanked and rattled all night. The room was very warm without it on. The bathroom door didn’t close properly so we needed to either push or pull with a lot of effort to get it to open or close. The pillows were like gigantic marshmallows; no one is ergonomically designed to sleep with their head that high up. And the bed caved in in the middle so I needed to prop myself up with the marshmallow pillows (this actually made the pillows useful for something) so that I wasn’t rolling into my husband constantly. We wouldn’t stay here again

Clean hotel with comfortable beds and contempory styling. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A very nice hotel close to shopping and the 403 on and off ramps.

Fantastic hotel in Oakville. Great for business trips. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. My suite was clean and comfortable. If you're in Oakville for business or pleasure, this hotel is for you. Right next store to a Denny's, movie theater and steakhouse house!

Great staff, decor, amenities, location and overall wonderful hotel! Suites are homely and modern. Any kind of work/staff meeting.conference as well is great to hold here.
