The panzos and tacos were quite good and too heavy!! Quantity is way more than sufficient especially of the panzos. We had ordered the paneer butter masala stuffing for both the items and it didn't disappoint at all. We had to order the spinach and cream cheese samosa which was below average for a place called 'Samosa Hut'. Samosa being their main dish, was out of stock so couldn't order their traditional aloo stuffing samosa neither the samosa chaat The other spinach and cream cheese samosa was not that great since it didn't have any cream cheese at all and felt like just an ordinary wrap filled with spinach puree.
Are here recently for take-out lunch. My friend ordered their Daily Special which was a Panzo? I ordered the rice with butter chicken with some mutton rolls, spring rolls and samosas. The butter chicken was tasty and had a sweeter flavour which I’m not used to but still good. The butter chicken samosas weee very dry but the chili chicken samosas were good. The samosas were super small . The spring rolls were also very try and too crispy. Service was very very slow and you could tell the people waiting in line were getting a little antsy. Would I eat here again? Maybe… only time will tell.
Originally went for the variety of delicious samosas and chicken dishes. Recently tried the specialty items like the fusion panzo and naan taco and they are amazing. Definitely recommend this place.
Great good, very reasonable prices! The only thing I'd like is somewhere to sit, as I always come here when passing through, but I suspect less overhead contributes to the price.
If I have a shindig I always go here to pick up about 50 samosas or so. It only takes about 5 minutes. They are tasty, reasonably priced and the vegetarian option is a bonus. The girls are super sweet and they offer you an aluminum tray.
Absolutely amazing food we ordered a dinner which my daughter devoured when I got home. I had the taco which is pictured here and it was to die for, my girlfriend had the burrito and loved it and I got a dozen samosas to go. Yummy! So many wonderful flavours! I am vegan and it was one of the best fast food gourmet takeouts I’ve had in a long time! I cannot wait to go back. Portions are huge, there was a long line up but it’s worth the wait. Service was friendly and great!
Decided to take the drive from Mississauga to Ajax with my homie. Got recommended by a friend. This place is freaking bomb. Got a dozen of different types of samosas. For a guy who hates spinach the spinach and cheese samosa is so good. The tamarind Samosa is great as well and so is the rest. Those 2 stood out the most! Also got the signature chat. 10/10. They gave us their sample ice cream that they might release in the summer. It tasted original, not fake. Loved it. Worth the drive, Good job guys!
The other owners were much better than the ones now. The prices were more reasonable and the food was much tastier. I recommend to go elsewhere. I paid way too much for such little food. I will never go there again
I love their Veggie Kothu rotti extremely Awesome and extra ordinary. And their veg noodles too taste good but little spicy. The restuarant customer service is very friendly and sweet. I asked them to make veg kottu rotti mild spice and they did it as I expected very much glad. And I like their veggie Roll spicy and tasty. 1 thing I don't like in their food taste is their samosas. Because their samosas don't have solid fillings instead they have it like pasty type i think their masala is grinded not in pieces inside the samosa and their all kinds of samosas taste sweety which I don't like it. I visit here regularly and I recommend this place for their AWESOME KOTTU ROTIsamosas can be improved :-
First off this is hands down my favourite restaurant in AJAX/SCARBOROUGH! Why? Well Let me start with the owner Jey himself! I had the pleasure of being served by him, he was such a delight and explained all the items he had created himself. As soon I stepped into Samosa Hut, party vibes and great smells is what I got welcomed to! All the food smelled so good, and the best part was the place was VERY clean which was amazing. Now to the food, I have attached a few pictures of the place itself and of the greatest Kothu fried rice, I had plates and plates of this kothu fried rice and it was the devils chicken which is pretty spicy so for those who don't eat too much spice the devils chicken will be too hot I even had left overs in the morning and oh man, tasted just as good. I also tried the rolls, veggie and chicken and every thing I ate was full, FULLLLL of flavour. I 100% recommend trying samosa hut if you can because you'll never enjoy the basic Tamil food again! Thank You Jey for the amazing experience and I will be returning for sure!
