Madura Dine-In

OMG one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve had in Canada so far and with reasonable price. We went as a family of 4 we had mysore Masala dosa, onion uthappam, idli, poori, Gobi 65must have, coconut rice, plantain baji, coffee and the final touch with Rava kesari. We loved the food so much and the service was fantastic thank you for the wonderful experience. I highly recommend madura dine-in.

An excellent South Indian restaurant with authentic Southern cuisine. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Ghee Mysore Masala Dosa is our family favourite. Kids love Poori and Manga lassi Overall I would recommend them both for All day dining with your family and friends.

Authentic, delicious South Indian food! The best medu vada, pakoras - crispy, hot, finger licking good! Tea and coffee - must try! Dosa varieties, puri masala, veg thali.. will make you visit again. Budget friendly. Decent ambience. Waitress today was little rude and had an attitude. But then staffs keep changing but the food is good. Have been here many times already and will continue to. Definitely recommend if you love South Indian food!

The best South Indian vegetarian food in Toronto. Awesome food & felt better than most restaurants in India. We had to wait in queue on Friday evening , its worth the wait. Don't expect fast delivery .

Absolutely the very best dosas we’ve had anywhere. On. The. Planet. Overall amazing food. Great service. A gem. Start with a medu vada. Crisp and golden, this fried lentil starter is just amazing at this place. I’ve had large, bloated vadas before, but the medu vada at Madura Dine-In are small little wonders of a soft tasty interior wrapped in a lightly fried exterior that together does well. And with sambar and chutney - just fantastic! The masala dosas look rather simple - and then as you mix the super thin crispy edges with the potato stuffing - something special happens. The masala the potato stuffing was perfect - the right consistency, just enough spicy, and it was the perfect complement to the thin wafer like dosa. When combined with the sambar and chutney this is dosa done perfect. The Ghee Paper Masala Dosa is a great example of how good this place is. The best part is it just feels like it was home made by mom in the kitchen. AAMoF, the chef is also the owner, I was told. So there’s no compromise on anything. We’ve been here a couple of times and it is consistently good. Sunday lunch time was a bit busy but food came out quickly. The ambiance is very non existent - a typical South Indian eatery - nothing fancy. But the food. Now that is the story.

This place is an authentic South Indian restaurant. I have been here multiple times and the food they serve is literally my soul food. It brings you closer to home. My personal favourites is the thali meals, coffee and pineapple kesari. It might get a little too busy during the prime time but it’s worth the wait.

Tasty South Indian vegetarian food. Service is fast and place is maintained clean. Suggestion to owner on Thali meals - if you could increase the rice portion it will help to taste all the curry provided with it, sadly I had to leave a few untouched and lead to wastage.

Food is delicious! Vegetarian Indian food. The chai is amazing and same as the chapatis! Extremely cheap as well and very friendly staff

Hands down - the best South Indian food in Ontario. Much better than Udupi, Sarvana Bhawan, Guru Lakshmi and others. The quality of dosa, idli and other food is simply awesome. Never ate such soft dosa and fluffy idli in any other restaurant. Went first time today and now this restaurant will be on my weekend list every week.

Let just start with a simple word to define this place "Awesome". Not only the dosas and sambar but the condiments chutneys served with it just adds miles to the dosas. Simply amazing and not too spicy for kids . Their food and it's flavor is for every age to enjoy. I cannot add word authentic as it's subjective but sometime taste beats everything and that's what this restaurant has to offer. We ordered Pao bhaji dosa, ghee roast and ghee mysore Masala and filter coffee. I can assure one cannot be disappointed with taste and quality. I would sutely be visiting again. Till date best in Durham and Toronto region and one of the best South Indian food restaurant in Canada. The place has good ambience and it has plenty of car parking. However, there can be a wait for 15-20 mins but it's worth it for dine-in experience. Last but not the least, hospitality is simply amazing.
