Sam Ash Music Stores

Great store if you play guitar! Awesome and I mean awesome selection of guitars. Puts Guitar Center to shame. Everyone is super helpful. They're willing to deal on the sticker prices. Just bought a new Explorer and couldn't be happier. Big Jim is awesome to work with! No more Guitar Center. Sam Ash from now on!

My partner (guitar/bass) and I (drums, composition/film scoring, studio production) have been going to the New Haven Sam Ash store for four years now and we've had nothing but the best experiences. Between the two of us we've probably purchased equipment from every section of the store and along the way we've interacted with much of the staff. They're always very friendly and knowledgeable, and a lot of them have used the equipment you might ask about, which gives you a great perspective before you buy. I've never had a single problem in four years with anything I've purchased here, and I've never had an experience in the store that I was unhappy with. On the contrary, the staff here consistently goes out of its way for the customer. If you're going to drop hundreds of dollars on gear, why not do it somewhere where you, your work, and your business are valued to the highest standard of excellence?

I love this store! Definitely gets 5 stars from me. The customer service is wonderful. Compared to Guitar Center this CMS store blows them away and not just the Guitar Center in Orange Connecticut any other Guitar Center that I have gone to this Sam Ash just blows them away. They have a much better selection the store is much cleaner, and the people are always friendly and helpful and they never give you a hard time or hassle you or make you feel pressured. I love dealing with the store and you will too!

I have been shopping at the New Haven Sam Ash for maybe 20 years. As of recently both of my kids have become very interested in learning instruments and recording and even live sound. I found a great package deal online for a keyboard for my oldest and scheduled a store pickup the Friday before Christmas. Not only was everything ready for me when I got there, but the entire staff put together amazing service and the best shopping cover up ever! My youngest fell in love with a violin package and not only were we able to purchase the last one, but the staff did everything they could and worked as a team to get me out of there with a gift for my son, who was with me at the time, without him even realizing. Quality of product, amazing prices and the best customer service I have ever had. The team at the New Haven Sam Ash is top notch and is more the reason why I am a customer for life.
