I order the food to pick up and it was so cold and the binagoongan was all fat its not cook yet …that why i re cook it again .. dinugunaan is so Salty..the lady who i spoke with is not friendly as well..
I came here for quick meal, I ordered their combo 2 for a take out because I was a little hungry and all the main dish are already prepared. Upon opening the meal I was disappointed with how little the portion they give now a days it became a little to less I’m not impressed. This is like my go to store/restaurant that I would always come to & all I can say is that compare to the meal they use to give out was better before. I don’t recommend having a meal here anymore there’s other restaurants in the area that has better meal.
Good options for take out. I like their turon the best, better than most places.
I think this store has gone downhill. I remember visiting this place years ago and it was clean, organized and more lively more staff and customers before. Now June 2022, the place is dirty and only 2 staff working on Sunday lunch time. Not too many customers and the ambiance is not inviting. My daughter said the halohalo is okay. Ube hopia is good but not the best. They still have the mini grocery area inside, although limited items were there. Dine-in is very limited and their washroom has been unavailable for a long time lol. Their other foods didn't look fresh. Hope they can better this place in the future and maybe do a general cleaning once weekly.
FV FOODS WILSON/ BATHURST Good Filipino food. Staff and owner Rose super friendly helpful and generous. They had contributed to our fundraising for the victims of the Taal volcano eruption. Supported our tshirt sale and allowed us to sell it in their store. Customers appreciative of our fundraising effort. Pretty busy place. Pastries. Bread and filipino delicacies. cooked food taste good. Love their Turon. Thank you to owners Grace and Rose for donating part of the days proceeds to the PIDC fundraising for Taal Volcano victims.
My Christmas was ruined when I bought this Buko Pandan Salad in a container for $25..no sweet taste, milk not enough and seems like they used cheap milk, bought it frozen and look at my photo what happened to the milk it stick together Next time i will not buy frozen salad like this! Really so gross and dissappointing cos my kids was excited to eat it!
As a foreigner trying Filipino Food I found it amazing … my favorite was the plantain spaghetti and the meat …. Every other thing wasn’t my thing .
Expensive price and yet,the owner is too greedy for sauce ans styro bowl.Ask for an extra styro bowl for my skewers because was planning to take out some and eat the others dine in,she was rude giving me that styro bowl, and ask for extra vinegar for the siomai cause i don’t like soy sauce,Her response,”you should have told me because you wasted my effort mixing the sauce and container”In a rude way. Was so disappointed. Was just asking for an extra small piece of vinegar.Their serving portion is little for their prices.
Yesterday, Friday, October 28th, My mom requested to eat filipino food for lunch. I took her to FV Foods, she ordered arroz caldo, pansit and lechon paksiw. Arroz Caldo was very salty, pansit was soggy, lechon paksiw was disgusting - pork was dry, tasteless, like it was just added to the gravy which was starchy. The paksiw puso ng saging that we bought for take out was same. Its oily, tasteless. We ended up throwing the food.... my 25+dollars. Its a very unpleasant experience. My poor mother was very hungry and disappointed.
Recommended this place to my friends because of their bbq skewers, but when we went there we were so shocked to witness how the owner named Grace blatantly shouts at her staff while the customers are staring at them and watching while lining up to buy their food. The abuse her staff had to endure while working their is just overwhelming to witness. No one should be treated that way. The food we got is not even worth it. Bbq got smaller in size and taste not the same as before. Halo-halo is not as they advertised on the poster. Beef steak is so salty, so is the squid. My wife said every dish is just not how it’s supposed to taste, because it’s either too salty, too sweet and just funky. Maybe their cook needs to taste the dish before it leaves the kitchen. And the owner definitely needs to be reported to labor!
