Palabok is nice and Taro Tapioca. A little pricier than what I'm use to.
We're a group of 7 friends who went at Honey' s Kusina for a boodle date and Gee was I ever amazed. Staff are very pleasant. Grilled to perfection are shrimp, chicken, tilapia, mackerel and squid. Pansit is yummylicious complimentary sinigang soup is perfectly seasoned and the atchara is just perfect for the tasty pork skewer. The buko pandan dessert is perfectly sweetened for me and has the 'melt in the mouth' texture. The place is small but the way they decorated the walls complimented it. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
date visited : August 13 ,2018 Wife and I stopped into Honey's out of curiosity. Not that we were craving anything specific at the time, lucky we did stop in, since they have Empanada here! We have been looking for a place that has Empanada..this has been the first we have come across without directly looking for it. We stopped in around 6:15pm. The remaining dishes that were available on the steam table were not appealing to the eyes at all. The dishes were not even stirred in who knows how long. It had the appearance of not being touched in like 4 or more hours. Hence why we didn't order any dishes from the steam table. We did pick up 1 Empanada, ground pork filling $2/each to try and we got 4 pieces of Turon banana wrapped in spring roll wrapper and fried w/either icing sugar sprinkle or some caramelized sugar drizzle $1/each for take away. The Empanada was good, the Turon was dry and a bit hard..maybe because near end of day? Guessing the Turon would be better when the resto opens. Normally we are used to Turon having Saba Philippine Banana, that's how we make at home, no idea what type of banana they used in their Turon. We usually don't go to Filipino restos very often, mainly because of their value of portioning to money spent. For whatever mentality Filipino restos go by..I find that they charge a premium price for food and what the customer receives is very little in comparison to a Chinese take out resto. They seem to always use smaller containers than standard takeout styrofoam containers. If they would at least do similar as to Chinese take away restos having a dish served on top of rice, at least that should bring prices to a more competitive level. Alas I have yet to see any Filipino resto do this. It is this aspect that keeps my wife and I away from Filipino restos, even tho there are times where we are actually craving Filipino food..heck we are Filipino after all. Sad to stay away from your own culture restos because they are too pricey. Repeat visit : for Empanada most definitely..other dishes..on the fence with that.
The food is good and friendly staff
I got an upset stomach from here. This was the only thing I ate the whole day. A few hours later, my stomach started hurting. I've been ill for three days and counting, though it has recently gotten better.
Only ate here 1-2x with new management and so far so good! Had Philipino breakfast with bangus. Bangsilog. Also bought a takehome. Pitsy pitsy. Good food good service!
Good place to eat. Deeelicious!!!! Great price too. Best halo-halo on a hot summer day! Yummy!!!
We order spring rolls here and they do a great job. It's a family favorite during family dinner parties.
Mom ordered food during the week and we went to pick up on Sunday but the order was never fulfilled. Sad to say probably never ordering food from here again.
Good food, fairly price and great service
