No. 9 Coffee Bar in Lunenburg is such a cozy, charming spot to slow down and relax.nnWhat makes it special is the layout — there are a couple of different rooms, each with its own feel, so you can find the perfect nook depending on your mood. When I visited, I noticed a few people knitting quietly in one of the rooms, which tells you everything about the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where people settle in and stay awhile.nnOne of my favorite areas was the room with the fireplace. With couches and comfortable sitting chairs, it feels warm and welcoming — especially on a cool Nova Scotia day. It’s an ideal place to sip your coffee and just unwind.nnThe barista was very friendly and added to the overall inviting vibe. Service felt genuine and unhurried, which matched the relaxed energy of the space.nnIf you’re in Lunenburg and looking for a cute coffee shop where you can truly relax — maybe read, knit, journal, or just enjoy a quiet moment — No. 9 is a lovely stop.

Great coffee, fantastic treats. Love the fact they carry vegan and gluten-free options that actually taste great.nComfortable atmosphere or take out and enjoy your coffee on the wharf.

Two days in a row having breakfast here, absolutely awesome. The staff are super welcoming and gave us an amazing start of the day. The kids loved the cheddar scones and breakfast galette. The streamers with different flavors make my 6 year super happy. The backyard is beautiful to sit and enjoy the morning coffee, while watching the birds flying around!

Cinnamon bun = unreal.nnOur coffees were great too. Got the mocha and an iced vanilla coffee. We sat in their back outdoor area which was a dream in late October with their fall colours.nnGreat little cafe!

A local recommended this cafe and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s in a lovely, cozy house with adorable decor. Snack options were all vegan as far as I could tell. I had an absolutely fantastic cortado, probably the best of my entire trip in NS, and a couple of the small square, chocolate dipped vegan cookies, which were a perfect complement to the coffee. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this beautiful little cafe in Lunenburg.
