The place is bigger than it looks from the outside. There’s two entrances, one for pick-up and the other for the main dining. The restaurant is so festive, very colorful decorations. When you walk in you order at the counter and pay for your food, then you can sit at any available table you choose. The food is delicious. I ordered the Carne Asada dinner plate. The plate was huge. My steak was cooked perfectly, it was tender and flavorful, not dry at all as some can be cooked dry. My friend ordered a veggie burrito which I kept looking at because it looked good as well. That burrito was fat! We could not get enough of their chips and salsa, it tasted so fresh. The price for the amount of food you get is just right. The staff were friendly and polite. Oh I almost forgot when you come to the restaurant don’t forget to order a Michelada they make it very good and serve it looking pretty in a tall glass. We enjoyed our food while listening to great music. Can’t wait to go back.
Good food and service. Colorful ambiance, but 2 entrances...1 for to go orders, 1 for eating in. Heard everything was good so tried the asada burrito to compare. Enjoyed it!Food: 5/5
My 2nd time here but my steak taco was not as good and kinda bland. The ambiance is great and cozy. Service was good.Food: 3/5
Great burrito....I seen all the reviews and had to try myself...no complaintsFood: 5/5
We had a pretty big family crowd the first day, at lunch. The menu is far more extensive than I'm used to at a taqueria, with dishes I've never seen before and Mexican beer too. I would gladly go back until I'd tasted them all, but I live in North Dakota now. Their hot salsa is VERY spicy, but tasty; they have other options at the salsa bar and you can order Pico de Gallo. My mom and I split an order of Huevos Rancheros and an order of Chilis Relleno. The huevos we're really tasty and very simple, though we're used to a slightly runny yolk and these were hard cooked. But I wasn't there when they were ordered and I know my uncle, who may have done the ordering, likes his yolks solid. It did not detract from the flavor. The chilis relleno were excellent! In fact, our Mexican Grandma Gladys had them all the time when she went there, which at one point was weekly. Grandma Gladys also approved of the rice and refried beans and the whole family agreed they were most like Grandma Gladys', which is high praise indeed. The beans were rather runny, though mixed very well with the rice, and with flavor like that, who cares? Two of our party had the Tortilla Soup and let me have a little taste of it. It was so good we went back to Salsa the next day to have our own bowls of it. It comes with several accompaniments, like cilantro, onions and what I think was crumbled queso fresco, and lime wedges. I also ordered a small cup of pico de gallo that I threw in. There is no other cheese with or in the soup, which was unexpected, but not missed at all. The soup itself has big shreds of tender chicken, potatoes, carrots, celery and probably other wonderful things I'm forgetting, in a light and very tasty broth in a huge bowl. Perfect chicken soup! My entire, half Mexican family highly recommends Salsa, and so do I!! Vegetarian options: There were plenty of options for vegetarians and you can order almost all of their menu without meat. I'm not sure if the pinto/refried beans are made with no animal products though. Kid-friendliness: Nice open eating area, simple, and very casual. Plenty of food choices a child would enjoy. Parking: Parking spots are very tight, but there are plenty of them since Salsa which is all the signage says, no mention of "Taqueria" is located in a strip mall. Wheelchair accessibility: I did not notice if there were curb cuts, but the way furniture is placed and the size of the bathroom make them wheelchair accessible. No railings in the bathroom though. Dietary restrictions: So many options and, like all the taquerias I've seen, you order up front and can make any adjustments then. I *think* I saw gluten free options, but I did not see dairy free cheese. However, you can easily order without cheese. They don't go crazy with the cheese even so, unlike so many places.
They still got it. Havent been for awhile. We had a big group and they accommodated us. Food was amazing
The food was excellent! Was craving some good authentic Mexican food and this hit the spot. I will definitely be back. I recommend the enchiladas by the way, they were on point.
They make the best burritos here. They also make my favorite Papas Tacos! You can dine-in or take-out. The staff is always very friendly the restaurant is nice and clean their Carnitas are excellent.
Awesome food - always! Quesadillas, burritos, tacos, tortilla soup - everything is tasty. They’ve got a side specifically for take out orders. Super easy. Everyone is friendly too. Try the chicken quesadilla or the black bean and cheese burrito. Their pico de gallo is also tasty.
Great lunch place with coworkers if you're in the surrounding area. This place is also great for dates with your significant other. People are extremely nice and service is phenomenal. They have the best wet burrito mojado burrito I have tried. Have come here 3+ times and won't stop. Mojado burrito comes with a choice of 3 different meats you can choose from with steak being $2 more. Total cost around $13. Portion size is huge for the price.
