Four Winds Brewing
"Four Winds joined the burgeoning BC craft beer scene and opened their doors to a public thirsty for new local offerings on June 1, 2013. Owned, operated and built from the ground up by the Mills family and friends, we are inspired by the Four Winds in gathering flavours from around the world to create our unique West Coast and European styles. We take great pleasure in the application of new world innovations while staying true to old world techniques. Motivated by the limitless potential of beer, as well as the great brewers who came before us, we aim to craft bold beers with character, depth, and balance."

As ND locals I had heard and followed this local brewery for some time. Hubby is the beer drinker, I am not so it took a @welovedelta #dinearounddelta Instagram contest win for a $50 gift card to bring us for our first visit. There is a nice outdoor patio area, good thing as it was already a full house on a Saturday 5pm inside. There is communal, 2+ and bar seating. We sat at the bar, fun to watch the action and talk with the servers learning more about the beers. We ordered a flight $8 that they picked for us 4 light after hubby was asked for his preferences. Two were fruity and I really liked those. Hubby enjoyed them all and they went well with the Jerk Chicken Taco $5.75 and Rajas & Mushroom Tostada $5- they are starter sized and the menu changes monthly so check the website for current IPAs and food menu. We both had the House Burger w/house-made tortilla chips/salsa $16 that was one of the best burgers we’ve had. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back, gift card or not. Located in an industrial/retail area along the Fraser River. Not a lot of parking.
We visited last Monday afternoon to try their craft beers and some tacos. Few people were there, so it was very quiet which was nice for us We were not that hungry so only tried a chicken taco, and it was declicious. We love their IPAs Also grabbed a few of IPA cans to go. Will visit again to try other beers with tacos.
One of Canada's best breweries, without a doubt. Get to enjoy the beer on the island regularly but only get the taco experience when we venture to the mainland and once a year at The Drake? Obviously the most central location but definitely always worth a visit.
Delicious beer. Friendly staff. Nice parking patio. Flights inside only presuming because they give you plastic cups for the patio. Was nice to try some of their variety
Impressive! I remember the “first days” 9 years ago and you’ve come a long way, well done! Reasonable price points on location and good food options! takeaway beers are pricey mind you
Try to visit when on the west coast. Great fresh beer with a diverse tap list. Had a great chat with Amy this am over a flight. Super hospitality. Worth the short drive from Metro Vancouver.
West coast brewery tour continues with todays HOT destination being the Delta/Ladner area. First stop being Four Winds Brewing Co…..another ‘strip mall’ joint with a nice outdoor patio area to grab some bevies under the shade. See ya soon FWBC!
Beer and food are great overall! Amazing variety and ambiance at the shop. I'm docking off stars because of it's lack of customer service online. I wanted to include a note on a delivery as it was a present and I couldn't hand it over personally since I moved. The shipping was fast, but no one ever replied to inquiries and since I sent my order I've been getting spam from various addresses. The security of personal data is questionable when ordering on their website.
Food and beer is always good. Hazy IPA and Nectarous sour are my favs. The lamb taco is the bomb don’t take that off the menu! The only thing I would say is if it was possible to have a bit more variety of food on the menu like other brewery options have, like maybe a flatbread or French fries or chicken sandwich? Other than that always a good time : will definitely be back
Good tacos, beer was good too. But they seems more woke then my liking. Just wanted to have a beer not to know how they feel about the gays. No need for “gays are welcome” signs / flags, it’s presumed you welcome everyone without prejudice. Just saying.
