Sal's Grocery Store

I heard about this place a few years ago and haven’t been disappointed with what I bought. The deli meat is something you can’t beat. On Sunday, I made a 50$ order (which I always spend at least that amount). I checked my bill and saw a price that didn’t seem write. I called and a lady confirmed the price that I thought it was. The lady who cashed me out (older lady with platinum blonde hair), did a mistake. She also seemed upset that I was bothering her. Poor demeanour. The lady on the phone told me to come into the store. I go and explain to the cashier what happened. Well, this Asian, older, man like lady was so non people friend. I explained to her what I saw. She said well this is what it is. I asked for a manager, she pointed to the deli meat and walked away. Excuse me? How rude to someone who is paying your salary. The manager, Janet, dealt with me. Another one who doesn’t have any customer service experience. She spoke to me very nicely and explained that this was the price. I said it’s weird because I know what I saw. She could have at least offered me something as an apology if even one of her “girls” made an error. I come into the store once a week and spend 200$ there. Will I come again? Probably not. Only advice is make sure you check your prices, and avoid talking to the these people. No customer service. Very poor!

I have been a customer there for 10+ years. Price is good if you don't mind the products are just expired or very close to expired. They just done a reno and the store is much more specious, bright and clean. A good place to visit when you are in the area.

Friendly, helpful staff, BEST PRICES IN THE GTA, Sal shops for the very, very best deals and passes along the savings, I have NEVER been disappointed! I have cut my grocery bill by 30%, and did I mention his fresh cuts of deli and beef? BBQ season or not, there is no better place to go. STOCK UP and smile, price, quality, service.....he has it all.

Recent renovations make it cheery. A discount store, watch your dates, and make the best of whatever they've got.
