Ajax Food Mart

The produce is from local farmers and good prices. They even have the single baskets with wheels for your shopping convenience. Large fish area fresh and frozen, large meat area. All the essentials down the groceries rows. Store is clean, tidy, and well lite. Staff are friendly and helpful. They didn't even charged me for bags.

Great grocer with great prices for this inflationary times. Under the radar because they don't spend $ on flyers to keep cost down. Big enough of supermarket to find most of fresh foods and fruits. No frills but friendly service and no long lines!

First time visiting this place, we were in the plaza and stopped in to buy one item, ending up buying a lot of fresh produce. Prices are extremely good and competitive. Good selection of Asian products as well. We will return.

I mostly go to buy dumplings and my non veg, except chicken. Chicken has a funny taste when u eat it dipped in gravies.

It is a so so Oriental store. They do carry Oriental items but not that many. This store is for emergency and last minute needs but you can't be sure if you will be able to buy what you need. Vegetables and fruits are not fresh, most of them are wilted. A box of mango is cheaper by a few dollars but they are small and soft does not look fresh at all. Traffic of grocery shoppers very low.

I'm highly discussed ,went in the store to buy fish and seen a staff rolling up the black rug in front of where the fish is been sold. While I was waiting to be served the same man started to walk behind the counter to serve me and asked what I wanted ,he then took up the same dirty gloves he had on and took up the fish he was going to get for me...just discussing..I said are you seriously doing this in my face I said he'll no I do not want it and left...would have spoke to someone but didn't think it would do any good.

The cashiers are always rude here. A simple hello goes a long way. Personally I started shopping here less because of their attitude.

Great place to get your vegetables and meats.

The best place for fruits and vegetables, the prices are always reasonable and the quality isn't bad either. A large variety or Asian groceries, the fresh noodles are some of my favourite and the snack aisle is always so tempting. It's quickly become our go to grocery store since moving to Ajax.

Some products are decent and on sale . I liked there large variety of tea. The butchers are rude don't speak English. Argue with you over price which is visible at the counter. The cashiers are rude as hell, through my change at me so I through it back. Hire English speaking people with better customer service .
