SAIL is the perfect store for those who love an active lifestyle. I prefer the most adventurous types of activities, and while fishing isn’t exactly my thing, today, going up to the second floor of the store, I was surprised and captivated by the huge selection of high-quality gear. The range for active outdoor activities is impressive — the products are really awesome, top-quality, and a pleasure to browse. I was also pleased to see reasonable prices, as shown in the photos I took at the store.nnI love that SAIL has everything you need for outdoor adventures, and the knowledgeable staff is always ready to help and advise. Last time, I bought a beautiful scarf for my wife here, and now I’m already planning to pick up something for myself. This store inspires an adventurous spirit, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Dear Sail Store in Ottawa, Train Yards,nnI checked your website on the weekend for an item’s availability and saw that you have stock. There was no mention of an odd store closure on Tuesday for inventory count.nnI actively try to find local stores to patron. I took my EV today, a Tuesday, at 3:00 p.m. only to find your store closed for inventory.nnI drove home and ordered the same item on Amazon. This has left a bad taste in my mouth, but what are my options?nnThe cost to drive back tomorrow made your product too expensive.nnI don’t want to add to global warming, but what is the point in having brick and mortar stores if you are not open on weekdays?!?nnWhy not maintain confidence in your reliability and just pay staff to count inventory overnight? Or better yet, outsource it to a professional overnight inventory counting company and then your customers don’t think you are not there to support them.nnReluctant in-person shopper,nnJJ
My day ended at SAIL for some snowshoes,and I was very happy with the fella that helped and the great selection of snowshoes. My wife liked mine for the ease of use binding she asked me to go get her the same Boreal snowshoes and it turns out there Cat approved lol. Thanks SAIL.
Last time one helper helped us a lot. We thought of giving a very good rating but there were no forms available at the trainyards store. This time also we received good help. My husband got the shoes that he loves and last time we both purchased wind breakers and they were so light and good for our vacation in the Rockies. These jackets were suggested by the helper.
I truly enjoyed my experience at Sail! I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are team members available to help in every department. Nowadays, it’s common to walk into a store and struggle to find assistance, and even if you do, the help is often minimal. At Sail, it was the complete opposite. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a genuine smile, and when I visited the shoe department, the staff was incredibly helpful without making me feel pressured to buy anything. Great service all around – I’ll definitely be back!
