Absolutely amazing experience! I am by far the last person to leave a review, pay full price, or purchase retail, but I will go out of my way to find an excuse to shop at this ProHockeyLife. From managers resolving an issue, to floor staff setting me up with new skates, everyone was so nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely made my experience in their store memorable! Can’t praise this store and staff enough!
I visited Pro Hockey Life Ottawa today and was pleasantly surprised! This store is absolutely amazing for anyone who loves hockey, whether you’re a professional, an enthusiast, or just looking for quality gear.nnThe first thing that stands out is the huge selection of equipment. I was there for both work and personal reasons, searching for some sports gear for myself. But what impressed me the most was the incredible variety of skates—I’ve never seen such a selection anywhere else! If I ever decide to buy skates, I will definitely come back here.nnBeyond that, this store has absolutely everything for hockey—from sticks and apparel to protective gear and accessories. You can literally fully equip yourself from head to toe, which is another big reason I’d return.nnI also have to mention the atmosphere. While I was browsing, I felt like I had watched an entire hockey game—that’s how well the hockey spirit is captured here! The only thing missing? Maybe just a place to sit and enjoy watching the game instead of shopping for gear.nnThe store is clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and they’re always ready to help. Thank you to Malcolm at Pro Hockey Life for helping me fit a new pair of skates for the first time in 18 years. Despite being young, he was extremely well educated in skate technology from previous skate generations. He was able to apply that in finding me some skates similar to my professionally fitted ones from many years ago. THANKS!
WOW! let me tell you this, I have been to many many hockey equipment stores in my years of living, never have I had such an experience as visiting this pro hockey life. Nicole was on the floor helping me out buying a new helmet. she was so genuine and knowledgeable about all the different technologies, she even installed a cage for me without me asking ! Her and I talked about the importance of women representation in hockey. The store is pretty organized, and I felt welcomed. I would definitely come back here for any other equipment needs.
