One of the best interior decor cafe in Ottawa placed in a nice location with good food and service. 4 ‘s only because of the price of items here. I had a mocha and Savannah oat meal here and it costed me around 16 bucks tips excluded. The mocha was great. The oatmeal bowls was delicious. The pecans in the bowl were fresh too. I would go here again for the quality of items they provide but the quantity of the oatmeal bowl and the prices is not worth it my opinion. Few buck down and I would be here all days of the week. They have lots of options on oatmeal. Also they have few pastries. They sell their coffee powder too. The service and the staffs were really nice. The street has street parking so that a plus. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
I was intrigued as I passed by to go to a nearby restaurant. So I stopped over after lunch. The design is industrial, rustic and chic. Furniture usage are smart as they can provide most table spaces and versatility. The egg shell swings by the window are definitely eye catching. Unfortunately, it was used the whole 2 hours bu the same people so did not have a chance to try. Their living wall is badly maintained tho. Plants are hanging on their last string …… Drinks: latte is my favorite and they offer almond, soy, oat and regular milk. So we decided to try almond and oat milk……. Not sure it was the best decision we ever made. Besides, SERVICE: the barista service was terrible. She kept on letting take out customers pay and pick up up before making our latte….. that was really frustrating hence 2 star for the service because ignoring your in shop customers and opting for talk out and completely ignoring the wait sequence is simply unacceptable !!!
Cute cafe and really liked the savoury ramen oatmeal. The selection of baked goods was great, as well as the teas. I liked how they had samples of an oat bar. Very tasty! Nice chill spot with swings. Ice tea was okay, tasted kinda watery. The seasonal peaches oatmeal was good but not as suitable for lunch/didn’t stand out much. Would come back to try more oatmeal, lattes and baked goods!
The gluten free treats are good, especially the brownie. We were a little disappointed with the coffee. We originally got mochas and asked for remakes to lattes instead because the they just tasted like oat milk. The barista was very kind and remade the drinks, but unfortunately they still tasted like a cup of milk. Despite this experience I have been to the other location on Gladstone and was very satisfied. Although this location was not the same I still stand by oat couture and think it’s normal to have some off day!
A warm welcome to the neighbourhood awaits here! Best matcha latte - their rose syrup gives it that extra special kick. Love the vibes in this cozy cafe - walk in and you’re greeted with the smell of warm oats and coffee, wooden accents, a trailing vine wall, and trendy signage with industrial lights. Don’t leave without trying one of their special oatmeal bowls, either. Their “Fashionable Oats” decal on their window signals a confidence in what they do - and rightly so.
We came here very early after getting off a flight from Vancouver. Absolutely loved this place and it’s unique oatmeal concept: the food was great, staff super nice and such a cozy atmosphere! Definitely recommend!
We were craving for light breakfast and Oat Couture delivered a breakfast sandwich way beyond our expectations. Highly recommend the Belmont sandwich. The Latte’s flavor is very well balanced. I can promise that they are experts in making Oatmeal!
Will definitely be back! Great service and food! Coffee delicious and oatmeal is worth the hype. Tasty and good portions. Delicious mocha! Toast is not worth it. Super small for $.
Nice small cozy café with good interiors. Service and food was very good. Loved savannah, meadow panini was delicious. Seneca breakfast was good. Tried hot chocolate and masala chai, both tastes great and fresh. There are lot of oat options and vegan food. Seasonal donut was awesome. Definitely recommend this place.
I hate oatmeal, but this cafe looked so good that I had to stop by. The oatmeal my sister got was actually delicious. It’s the first time I enjoyed an oatmeal! The oatmeal raspberry bar was amazing. My heirloom toast was tasty, but for the price, I wish it came on an artisan bread and not on white toast. It took a long time for the food, but they were busy non-stop. Also loved that they had a food cart outside with free meal bags, for those who can’t afford to come in.
