Safeway Pharmacy

This used to be an excellent and efficient place, but in the last year or so, has become hopeless. I was notified of a monthly prescription's readiness a week ago, and when I went in to pick up, after a LONG wait in line, the wrong prescription had been filled! The attendant, a man, looked in the "system" and declared I had NO refills of the one I needed, even though the pill bottle I had on my person said 6 refills left! He froze physically when he had been caught in that lie, and promised me he'd immediately fill the prescription, if I'd only wait "another 20 to 25 minutes"!! Yeah---NO. I picked it up the next day. If this were the ONLY misunderstanding, I might be okay, but something comes up nearly every single month there. Last month it was, "We are too busy! Please tell us you don't absolutely NEED the prescription TODAY!" This is, of course, AFTER I get notification that my prescript is ready! And lately they've hired a rude lady employee who acts as if everyone is a real imposition on her precious time. I'm just done with these jokers.

This place is good enough if you have something simple for them. If you have a worker's comp or anything like that, don't waste your time. They are "too busy" to help you with anything other than handing over drugs. I won't be going back.

My college kids went to get flu shots today. Not much pharmacy traffic, but they were there over an hour. Very poor service and the pharmacy manager was rude. I've used Safeway pharmacy at home for over 20 years. There are other Pharmacy's in Bozeman if you can't get your act together. I like being loyal, but not if you, Safeway, don't do your part!

long waits but good for when I need a medication nobody else in town has.
