Story

Price Rite Drug was founded by Mr. Ed Harrington R.Ph. in 1972. The original location was in Belgrade, MT, followed by an expansion in 1985 to Bozeman. In 1998 the Belgrade store was closed, but the Bozeman store underwent remodeling and was turned into a jointly-operated space with Van's IGA. In 2002, the medical equipment department of Price Rite Drug expanded and relocated to the south side of the building. In 2012, the IGA grocery store closed, and the Price Rite Pharmacy established its own space in the front of the building, next to the medical equipment department.

Today, we continue to provide the most in-depth and professional pharmaceutical and medical equipment services in the Gallatin Valley. We are your source for home oxygen, wheelchairs and power chairs, CPAP equipment for sleep apnea, ambulatory aides, lifts, and walkers. We offer the XSENSOR® pressure imaging system for a custom fit, equipment maintenance and compounding services in our pharmacy.

I had them put in my second set of hand controls in my truck. The staff explained the difference in the controls they install and educated me in making an informed choice. I know have digital hand controls  that are GREAT! They look great in my truck, and my wife has no trouble driving the vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone, but they are pretty busy so call ahead if need them done quickly.

On the medical equipment side of things: Randy is always very pleasant and knowledgeable but it is his hired help who always come across as uninformed on the very things they sell. They definitely behave like they'd rather be doing something else. The people who work here should at the very least be knowledgeable on the products they sell and be up to date on types of equipment that can be ordered if they don't carry it.

This place is horrible. The help on the phone, in person or any way is no help at all. Please read all of the Horrible reviews this place has already to prevent your self from having to go through what I did. I tried ordering a new Wheelchair that was paid for in full. The Chair showed up 4 months later with the Wrong Wheels, Tires, Cushion, Back Height, Side guards & all around the wrong stuff.  I had to return the Chair and go else where out of town for the products Correct Products & equipment I needed. This made it horribly difficult for myself being that I am paralyzed. 
Now on another Product they say they provide is Hand Controls for Vehicles. They would only install one kind because they would not take the steps to be able to install another brand that I had used for the previous 8 years and never had any problems with. The Kind they install with in the first month Started to Squeak, Fall Apart and the worst part stick. Which in the state of Montana when your gas pedal sticks on Ice you most Likely are going to have a car Wreck. 
Please for your own safety and well being please reach out to other places. Even being a couple hours away it will save you all the stress & Headaches of working with this HORRIBLE COMPANY!!

HORRIBLE! Price Rite has consistently messed up in ordering a new wheelchair for my husband! This has been a six month evolution just trying to get Price Rite to get the appropriate things ordered for a functional wheelchair! This wheelchair is my husband's way of getting around and Price Rite has done absolutely NOTHING to show that they are capable of getting this ordered correctly to fulfill my husband's needs that are vital to his life!!! The fact that this place is the only medical supply company in this area is a HUGE disservice to this community. They should not even be in business after this awful experience.

I have had to visit Price Rite 3 times for medical equipment. Every visit has been met with rude employees who act like I am inconveniencing them. I have spent the last 2 months trying to get a new nebulizer. They first charged me for something insurance covers. When I spoke to Medicaid, they agreed to refund me. They did. And took the Neb. They said they would call my doctor and get a new script so I could have my Neb. That was a month ago. I spoke to my doctor this morning. They have no record of ever receiving a call. I now have to go out of town so that I can have a vital piece of medical equipment before fire season hits. It is a real shame that we have no alternatives in this city. I'll be reporting them to Medicaid again though I doubt it will do any good.
