Safeway Northgate Grande Prairie

Visited Safeway in the north of Grande Prairie, needed to order lunch for a small client group—sandwiches and fruit seemed like the way to go. I was very happy with the result. They had more than one sandwich option, including a club sub and another mixture I don’t quite remember. I went with the triangle sandwiches and a massive platter of fresh, fresh fruit—all very reasonably priced at under $100 for the two large items. I ordered the day before, and it was ready fresh the next morning. Also, needed a bunch of ice cream treats for a later in the day client visit and found some good value options also. Grabbed a mix and match of brands a few of which were on sale, again, pleased!

Beautiful store and super friendly staff. The bakery also exceeded expectations.

I get my prescriptions there, and I got this yogurt for 8.99 there's a few flavours left.nnMost of the staff are quite friendly. I realized even I was doing tonight, just because they are following me and think that I'm stealing does not mean that they dislike me... Just doing their job.. took me along time to get over being blamed for shoplifting everywhere.nAnyway they are the next place to get cereal withing 10kmn2 lbs of cereal and a 473ml Cinnabon coffee cream 8.30$?!nGreat hours!!

There caramel cheese cake is to die for and they got a great pick in flowers last long don’t die easy and affordable.

The manager wondering this evening was actually quite rude, went in to do a return of Tylenol and the customer service I received was terrible. which for me is unusual for this location.nHer tone of voice was extremely condescending. I originally gave her the wrong receipt and instead of her telling me that she tells that I am a liar. I then checked the receipt and saw it wasn't the right one so I then produced the right receipt..nI understand it's close to Christmas and evedy place is busy but if you aren't able to speak to all customers with respect maybe be a shelf stocker instead.nMerry Christmas y'all !
