Safeway Downtown Kelowna

This Safeway has recently undergone extensive renovations inside. Especially of note is the sushi bar and sandwich and hot food. It all looks very nice with tasty and fresh offerings. I bought their fellow pastry the other day, which was very high quality. They generally have everything that you need and then some. Oh yeah, and the seafood section is great too. Not a big fan of the parking lot, but besides that the supermarket is top class.

Large grocery store conveniently located in downtown Kelowna. Prices are higher then normal but it’s convenient. They have plenty of options of hot food for those who work nearby. There is also a Starbucks kiosk inside.nnVisit my instagram: @nextdestination_ca

Customer service in the store was fine. But it shouldn't cost me $86.50 to park there. I went to pick something up from a store next door, and was gone maybe 10 minutes before going to Safeway. It was hot and I was buying desserts which I didn't want to melt / go bad while I grabbed something next door. Honestly, just not worth the price to bother going there. I likely won't be going back.

Great for fresh veggies, fruits, and baked goods. Some items cost more than at other stores, but if you use Scene+ points, it's not that bad. Plus, they have weekly deals on different things. If you can combine deals with points, you can sometimes get better quality items for less than at other stores. They have a pharmacy and a Starbucks inside as well.

I have shopped here for a long time. The short guy who is bigger than most, is actually the laziest person working at the whole store. I cannot express how poorly positioned he is. He does not belong in the meat department. He is grumpy and so slow. He genuinely acts like he hates his job and anytime you ask him for something he sighs. Like guve ne a break. Go get a new job if you hate it soo much. Im actually so frustrated after dealing with him since last summer. Everyone else in the department and in the seafood department goes above and beyind for the customernThis guy acts like anything a customer asks is an inconvenience. He would do better stocking shelves and not interacting with customers.
