Amazing fire roasted pizza….very rustic feel to the place, but it was a bit crowded and loud. Was our first date night where we dined in, since the pandemic started, so the amazing service our server provided and the amazing food was definitely a bonus, but it got loud and crowded very quickly, and I had to hurry to finish my meal so I could get out of there….I guess I wasn’t ready for so much action yet. But even though I got anxiety and had to leave, make no mistake, I WILL be back. Amazing service, pizza, and music. Great place for date night!
Nice place with a bit of rustic feel and a big patio. Had the fortune of good weather so we sat outside and it was really nice. Had a large classic pizza which was good enough for two as we weren't that hungry. They have a nice selection of beers, i tried the oatmeal pale ale, it was a bit weird having a crisp clean initial taste then a citrus after taste but it was not bad. Service was good and fast. Overall a good experience. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available Parking: Street parking
Just wonderful! A must go place in Freddy. Delicious craft beer, and cocktails. An extension wine list. And a thoughtful offer of food! The fishcakes are to die for! And all the pizzas are inspiring, with a great selection of toppings and options for all diets and needs. If planning an off-site event, try the second floor of this lovely spot.
Went for the beers but stayed for pizza. Got the taster flight of 4 beers and 2 were i would say average, and 2 were above average and quite good. I didnt know going it that it was a pizza oven restaurant as well so tried the classic meat pizza. They accompanied an ingredient substitute with no problem. The pizza arrived quick and hot. Unfortunately it was paper thin and soggy in centre so more of a lasagna type experience. But the outer edges and crust were good. Dough was good, sauce was quite good and ingredients were average. Beef topping i would remove next time as it wasn't my favourite. Got a few cans to go but suprised to find they are about $4.50-$5.50 for a 355 ml can Overall recommended and would return but some things that could be a bit better.
I’ve been meaning to try this place for sometime and finally had the chance this Canada Day. The wood oven pizza certainly delivered with a thin yet delightful crust. We ordered 3 different styles and they were all quite appetizing. Would strongly recommend pairing any of the pizzas with one of their in-house King West craft beers. I can personally recommend the radler. This is easily a signature Freddy destination.
Great service! Pet friendly patio. We got very late and they were very welcoming. The beer is excellent so it was the fish and chips. Unfortunately we were too late for desert but I hope to be back before we leave Fredericton. Our doggy also liked it.
A great experience. An awesome meal. great job to all the staff. Great drink options. Server Paige was outstanding! Food options are great as well as portions. Fire roated Pizza second to none
The food was what was to be expected for this kind of joint. Even though it's labelled as Neapolitan style, I don't feel it follows the principles of Neapolitan pizza although they are a thin crust joint. Pizza was good tasting, and pretz bites were warm and great would have enjoyed a bit of sweetness in the mustard dip. Service was attentive and friendly, although the ambiance + service for a lunch time I guess for efficiency is stick all of the tables in the same corner so it's easier to serve. We wanted a quiet lunch and walked into there with 0 guests and about 30 tables. The next 3 families to come in all got sat directly beside us with a still fully open restaurant. If back in NB I would go back. Parking: Looked to be approx 12 spots on the side of the building.
The wood fire pizza here is a must try. Cooked to perfection, slightly charred for that wood fire flavour with excellent tomato sauce and fresh ingredients. Why not try a King West brew while you’re there or even take some to go.
It's been a while since I ate here, but I need to come more often, if for no other reason than that Sour Gingerman beer cocktail I love! Besides the SGM, I ordered the new chorizo & fennel pizza with the spinach and squash salad on the side. My friend ordered another of the new pizza varieties on the menu, the Sweet Summer Prosciutto with the delicious sweet potato waffle-cut fries. Absolute perfection on all levels! And the patio is a great way to enjoy great company on good weather days. The server gave me some other great suggestions when I asked what would make her say "Ooh! Amazing choice!" if I ordered it I *love* when servers aren't scared to give me their opinion vs. what the bestsellers are! Thank you!. I have some ideas I hadn't considered before for my next visit. Always a pleasure, RustiCo!
