The food is delicious, the portions are decent and they have everything your dog needs to enjoy their time here. The staff are all very accommodating and overall we had a great time here. I would have liked to see a few more breakfast options on the menu and for the coffee to be included in the cost of the meals as they are already overpriced.
Cute cafe, nice decor and clean, pet friendly I was impressed with how well behaved all dogs were!, parking available. Brunch was tasty and portions were good, bonus points for the pretty "Rubilicious" cocktail. My only con : brunch is on the pricier side, but I guess you pay for the convenience of bringing your pet in.
Very cute dog cafe. Staff were alright. Food was good but menu is very limited. We ordered one oatmilk lattee and a cappuccino, which I do not really recommend as it is very expensive for the size of the coffee. Food is good but also very expensive for the portion and what is included compared to a brunch restaurant. Portions look bigger in photos than irl I cannot justify paying 55$ for 2 small plates and 2 coffee. At the front of the entrance side, there is a small gated area to let your dog loose to do theyre business before going in. Sadly, won’t be coming back here.
We went for my moms bday, 5 people, 2 dogs. The place is GORGEOUS omg. I’ve waited long enough to go to a pet friendly place in MTL not that many, so my expectations were really HIGH. The food is amazing, the service just AWFUL! I’m giving 3 starts cause the food worth it and the place but the rest needs improvements 1. The music TOO LAUD! And only reggeaton! I mean we are not in a disco i don’t expect quite but some dogs may be anxious so please select a better music 2. The barista: the slowest one I’ve seen for a coffee maker. Impossible to get your coffee in less than 15 min 3. The food take +- 30 min to arrive, and that is if you are lucky enough for the waitresses to see you, grab your order or remember to actually order it to the kitchen. 4. Price wise is ok the general for the standard brunch in MTL. Around $18 - $22 per plate but the portions and flavour really good. Finally we ordered all our food and we ate, one of my friends was really hungry and he order another plate and a cinnamon sticks for the table and those NEVER arrived, also a golden coffee and a cappuccino. We decided after 30min to take the bill and leave. And guess what? The bill came with a charge extra for service for groups of 6 or more. We were shocked! We asked the manager and she removed that and while that was happening, the chef came and bring the pulled pork sandwich we ordered that they forgot. She apologize and mentioned service didn’t even send it to the kitchen. Definitely MANAGEMENT ISSUES! They said they were short staff, well I saw them talking sometimes and not moving fast enough. Plus, I don’t think is enough excuse. If you don’t have enough people then don’t open all your tables. Is better to have happy customers well served, than making a revenue on people that don’t want to come back again. I totally think this place has potential, but it needs a lot of revision to do for improvement. Good luck
What a gem! Restaurant - Standard size tables with hoops to attach your pup and plenty of parking in front which is much appreciated, especially in the winter! Lovely staff and clean facilities. Food - selection is limited but creative, beautifully plated, and an explosion of flavors at every bite. The pup menu has great variety, our pup tried the turkey meatloaf, which disappeared in 30.5 seconds! We took the poached eggs and chorizo grilled cheese with french toast sticks to share. Everything was perfect with creative pairings/sauces , i.e. creamy jalapenos sauce to the chorizo grilled cheese, just try it!! Drinks - we tried the classic latte and the butterfly pea flower latte, which was a delicious discovery! The foam was so dense, rich, and creamy and the indigo colored latte was perfectly sweetened and creamy. Pups - all tables had brought their fur babies that day and the dogs were so well-behaved. The hoop also allows to keep them close to your table. The staff had brought water bowl to each pup client. Price - I disagree that the price is too high.. any reputable brunch establishments of the same quality is price the same if not higher, and pets are most definitely not welcome. Each plate is around $18-$20 and latte $3-7. We had leftovers to bring home as well. I would try their special items and it's def worth your money!! Surroundings - We took a walk along the canal after brunch and the day was just perfect. Please support this local business; the experience they offer, in both culinary skills and pet-friendliness, they really deserve it!
Human Friendly Dog Cafe and Hotel. Food and drinks were great. If you like Dogs and the atmosphere of many furry friends munching with their owners then this place is for you. They have a diverse menu and a pet store and boarding/services for dogs. I recommend for a furry foodie experience.Food: 4/5
Hidden gem. They accept people without pets ;. It's a pet friendly café The food was excellent. Will have to come back to test more meals. There is a parking lot! The building looks great.
The building is really nice, I'm happy they kept the original look of the bricks outside. Indoors is more modern industrial look with neons, a large coffee bar and two sitting areas on either side of the entrance and then the back is the dog counter with treats and accessories, everything you can think of for the very pampered pooch. The food is alright, it's your standard simple brunch options made fancy. Tastes good and looks pretty. It's ok for a light meal, not if you're very very hungry. Small details that could be improved: - the music was a bit loud, could be triggering for some excitable/anxious dogs. - the bathrooms are clean but no changing table for babies, there was only a wooden bench. - the entrance from the street needs some cleaning up. Old couch on the side, dust and gravel everywhere.
Top notch food at this place. Premium ingredients and flavourful. Of course, dog friendly too! Would recommend the BLT sandwich or the Sloppy Dog.
By far best Cafe I’ve ever been in, food was so delicious! The food presentation was beautiful and appealing, place was very clean, the staff was very kind and patient with all the pooches, all the facilities available for the dogs are incredible, my puppy and my family had a wonderful brunch, we will come back every time we’re in Montreal! Thank you for an incredible experience
