Great, empathetic nurses. Great team of surgeons, I met 8 of them. They all took the time to explain the procédures, risks, etc. I came into emergency by ambulance and after diligent testing I was operated the next day. It is definitely à different world inside the ER and post recovery. I applaud the human resources for multitasking and being well connected with their respective teams to help people. Nobody wants to be in a hospital, I am grateful for the service and information I received. Kudos to everyone
This could of easily been a 5 star if mental health didn't try to assert their dominance and try to search of all of my personal things.nnI was supposed to be just talking to someone.nnBut they felt it was justified to invade my privacy.nnI waited 16 hours for you people to treat me like an absolute criminal.nnNo history of violence or criminal record.nnPolicies are not laws. And you can't force people to show you their private belongings.nnNeedless to say I left. Doctors didn't prescribe me anything for the arm injury I went in for. And all I wanted were anti inflammatory.nnThe patient care here is abysmal. I wouldn't take any emergency here. A guy with a broken wrist sat their for close to 7 hours before he was seen.nnA girl coughing blood was laying down in the main waiting room for 8 and 1/2 hours... guess we don't care about the spread of covid anymore?nnAs person with PTSD. The mental health department appeared absolutely clueless as to how to approach someone with my disorder.nnThey had two people badgering me that they were going to search my stuff.nnBefore I even got to see the doctor.nnYou guys should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.nnMental Health Professionals? Dont make me laugh
The diabetic outpatient clinic has been a literal lifesaver for me, from giving me advice on better essential care management to helping make sure I have access to the resources I need to live and thrive with my Type 1 Diabetes. The nurses are always welcoming and friendly, they really help keep everything on track and make sure my appointments are seamless. My only complaints would be the crowded parking fully expected for a busy hospital, communication to book appointments every time I call they transfer me, the phone rings for 3 minutes then an automated voice tells me to hang up and try again, and that I have yet to actually meet my endocrinologist in person for an appointment since I was referred to her about 2 ½ years ago again, busy hospital, I fully appreciate her efforts and willingness to juggle me in with her other patients to the best of her ability. Overall, a great team and smooth experiences! Thank you Royal Alec for helping keep me thriving and alive-ing!
I arrived at Endoscopy in the afternoon, a period of decreased business.nThe admission desk lady was warm and professional.nThe admitting nurse Kathleen was personable, efficient, professional andnwarm. Warmth is important as she made me feel cared for. Wasn't afraid to laugh with me.nnI had received text reminder prior to test day and I appreciated this.nThe package of information sent to me via mail though helpful was daunting.nMay wish to streamline and check for literacy level as well as consider summarizing into a booklet with attention to font? I do appreciate the work that must have gone in to preparing the handouts as I felt I was prepared well after reading.nnDr. Sadowski was approachable andnopen.nnI don't recall much about the last stagen due to procedural sedation but thankfully I received information in handout form and my partner had his hearing aids in thank you Partner!!.nThank you Endoscopy Team!
I have nothing but good things to say about the team that took care of me there. I came for an MRI appointment ON THE WRONG DAY! They were so sweet and accommodating, still managed to wiggle me in. One of the nurses, Andrew, picked me up from the main entrance and took me to the location I had to go. Everyone was super sweet and caring, honestly wonderful experience!
