I had my delivered my baby here on OCT 4 2025. He was premature 26 weeks 6days . He was at the NICU for 3 months.He was diagnosed with IVH and hydrocephalus a week after through ultrasound. They have a proper diagnosis and all neonatologists and nurses are amazing. He was transferred to U of A for a surgery. He is recovering now. I am so thankful to Dr. Qureshi, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Haidri, Dr. Kumaran. Thanks to nurses from Bianca and Noago who were in charge from day 1 and explaining us all the things that was happening with our baby they were really sweet. I see few negative reviews for NICU desk but as for my personal experience the front desk staff were really nice in connecting my calls to the bedside nurses. I am also thankful to the Lactation consultant team helping me through and assisted in getting a pump for rent. Also thanks to Christofer Forman our social worker, who has helped a lot with all paper works from the postpartum unit till NICU discharge. Thanks to the cleaning staff too for being really good at their work with always a smile whenever they met the parents passing by. I hope this review would help new parents who have their tiny babies admitted at the NICU and might be worried by the negative comments seen in reviews.
Thank You to the Royal Alexandra Hospital TeamnAfter a bad slip on the ice, I ended up in the emergency department at the Royal Alex with a broken leg and significant pain. From the moment I arrived, the emergency team provided exceptional care. They were quick, compassionate, and attentive — keeping me informed every step of the way and doing everything they could to make a stressful situation more manageable.nI was later admitted for surgery and transferred to the orthopedic surgery unit, where I continued to receive outstanding care. The entire staff was incredible: attentive, compassionate, and consistently checking in to make sure I was comfortable and well‑supported. Their professionalism and genuine concern made a huge difference during a very challenging time.nThank you to everyone involved in my care. Your dedication, kindness, and expertise helped me through an experience that could have been much harder without you. Please keep up the amazing work — it truly matters.
Accompanied someone to emergency,absolutely atrocious. People doing drugs in the bathrooms for hours. Zero done about it by anyone in the hospital,they invite them in. Most disgusting hospital I have seen in all of Canada. Despicable to even calm this a hospital. People in pain sitting waiting for 10 hours while junkies are helped given clothes and food,encouraged to stay and loiter going in and out of the bathroom to do drugs then nap in the waiting room.
The royal has been very kind to us both times. I just want to say thank you to all the dr, nurse and staff and the royal. I was air lifter there this week as I had a rare situation going on. They all took such great care of me and I am thankful for every single one. The nurse and dr in the robins Pavillion were all so amazing.
Today I had surgery at this wonderful hospital!!! Thank you so much to all the staff at В Unit!!! You guys are absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you so much for all the care and attention you give!!! Dr. Jeffery Caroline is the best of the best, gentle and responsible doctor. She is a professional in her field and very attentive!!! You are the best doctor!!! My highest recommendations for this hospital!!!! Keep up the good work, guys, you are great!!!!
