I recently gave birth at Misericordia Community Hospital. As a first time mom, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and supported. The nurses in Labor and Delivery were attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable, ensuring I was comfortable and well-informed throughout my stay Big shout out to Nurse Tess, Josephine and Maria, you guys are awesome. The doctors were thorough, taking the time to explain every step of my care and addressing all of my concerns. The postpartum nurses are very accommodating, always making sure that I am doing alright they address all my concerns properly Shout out to nurse Helen and Mackenzie, I am beyond grateful of you guys. I truly appreciate the level of care I received and would highly recommend Misericordia Community Hospital to anyone seeking quality medical services. Thank you to the entire team for making the birth of my child such a positive and memorable experience!
This review concerns the Urology Daycare unit.nNovember 18 2024 I had the pleasureand it was oneof meeting the most wonderful team of professionals I have ever met. I was in for day surgery for right side kidney stones which I’d been suffering with since October 18. For those of you that have suffered or are suffering with the same you will just know how severe that pain can be.I hope that those of you suffering get to go here. The anxiety which is quite normal is almost instantly removed by such a dedicated team.ok so you get sorted which you sleep through anyway and the aftercare that follows becomes comforting and you slowly come back from your ordeal. If I ever have to go back for the same my worry about the procedure is just gone and YOU can do this too. I have to mention and thank some people that made this happen from Annette to Melissa,Pablo, anesthetist Will, aftercare Yanna and Coel and it just leaves the main man Surgeon Dr Luke Dean that with his team of dedicated professionals got me through this.Thank you all..After the procedure you gotta expect to be a little uncomfortable with a bit of acheing but rest assured proscribed meds take care of that.I can’t recommend the Misericordia anymore than I have. With the dedicated people within this buildings help you will have no trouble getting through this if stones are your issue, with their help you can certainly do this and look forward to being virtuallynpain free which is where I am right now/24 hours on…..
Over all the medical staff were very professional and understanding to my needs. Staff checked in on me often as for my condition had changed. The wait time was a bit but I feel it was not near a long if staff didn't come to see me and asked how I was . From waiting room to seeing a doctor and have tests and x-rays done to doctors conclusion and treatment recommendation. To date I was completely happy with my visit over previous ones at other hospitals. Thank to all apply at the Misericordia hospital. I appreciate all of you thank you .
Waited 8 hours to get into the emergency, from 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM. Everything seemed fine, night nurses were great. They took my blood, said I had good veins for needles, found the vein fine, put my IV in fine. I was in a hospital bed but was moved to a single person couch around 2 AM. Come 7:30 AM, still in the same couch, morning nurses came in. Couldn’t find my vein for shit to put an IV in. Had a student first try in the morning to get an IV into my left arm and she was shaking like no tomorrow, missed the vein of course, asked if I wanted the other nurse to try. Other nurse, Dorothy I think. She poked me by my wrist, missed the vein, tried again on the inside of my elbow, missed again, repositioned it. Still didn’t get it right. Now I got bruises from where they missed the veins in my arm. Then another nurse who had the worst attitude towards me after telling her I wanted to leave, I refused what else they tried doing because of the terrible experience in the morning. I just wanted out. As I was getting the IV out of my arm, I asked if I can finally drink water hadn’t had water or food for so long she said “you can do whatever you want, you’re not in our care anymore” Night nurses 10/10, morning nurses 0/100, wish I got the names
Sat here for 5 hours today in the waiting room after being brought in on an ambulance to make my way into ANOTHER waiting room to wait for who knows how much longer. Such an unpleasant place. I didn’t say a peep about having to wait so long but when I get up to leave i mistakenly walk through “the wrong door” which leads to the right place and got yelled at on the way out. Our healthcare system is in shambles. Guess my heart problem will figure itself out. Can’t say enough great things about the EMT responders though, first class in that department, thank you to them
