Really pretty campground. Nice and quiet. Kind host. Bathrooms are nicely attended to. No shower area, just toilet/sink. Not large beach areas but fun to splash around in! Beautiful little walking trails all over. We specifically stayed in site 15. Overall really nice and away from other sites plus we had kids so being close to the bathroom was also nice. Beautiful view. Very roomy campsite, mostly shade but you get sun mid-day. Downside was the tent site was on the small side for our 10 person tent and the entire site is sloped so there really is just the one small flat spot.
Fabulous views. Very private, large campsites. A series of very tiny sand beaches adjacent to lakeside sites. One small beach for the upper campsites. Restrooms: Restrooms are are acceptably clean, but few and far between. Dog-friendliness: There is no designated beach. This is probably good news for people with dogs. However, not so good for the rest of us, since the dog people don't always clean up after their pets. Naughty, naughty!
Very close to restroom which has flush toilet. Water is by the restroom building. Lots of firewood on the ground. Decent privacy.
A small, secluded campground on the southern end of Priest Lake. Nice spot, but not much lake access.
We were sent to stay here for a week but left after a few days. The sites are clean and the park is very well run. Unfortunately it was quite hot oh, and since we could not run our generator after 10 p.m. even with the windows open we were boiling in our camper. The area is heavily forested and there was no air movement. I'm still giving us an excellent ranking because it is very nice and well-run. I will also add that while our site said that it was good for 50 feet and our rig is well below that it was challenging to get it into the site.
The host was great. There is 15 very largre campsites with flushing toilets
Phenomenal campsites. Lake front views. Well maintained sites. Will come again.
Camp sites were decently spaced apart and had fire rings and picnic table. Site 5 is a great site, right next to the bathrooms and short walk to the kayak launch. Some of the sites aren’t supppperrrr even so I’d try to limit the size of your tent or you could be on uneven ground. Mine was 10x10 and it was just right. Camp host was super friendly and a treat to talk to!
Wonderful place!can't wait to go back. Quiet, beautiful and a delicious feast for the soul.
Where did I begin....I drove around the loop...every site unoccupied stated OPEN. Open today...but subject to incoming reservation @ any time. Then if you disregard this sign in a ziplock bag it will have reservation dates included from an online calendar. Now I am not sure where and when "online" is available but I believe this method of search is ludicrous. Every campsite I have went to throughout 5 weeks in Montana and 2 weeks in Idaho has the reservation dates upcoming week posting so you can easily see from driving around. The next step was to pay for site that was posted "OPEN"...As we was paying for site the camp host stopped by to offer assistance...we explained what campsite we were paying for and he said "welcome...on my way to other campground for duties". We paid with cash in provided envelope and went to site. We set up...had meal and started on walk when camp host explained he didn't notice reservation coming in and we would have to move to different site only remaining site... away from water. What a joke!!!! He wouldn't consider giving even giving a free night or any customer assistance not even assistance to find out if something was available at other site. He did say if we didn't pay for only open site that we could lose it as well. We should have went online...well he also said even if we did go on the site we can't make a reservation at any site this late. So we are screwed. Take it or leave it. My husband was the calm one I said What happened to customer service??? He owned up to making a mistake but that didn't help us out. He wouldn't even check for the other site that he just returned from for us. All I would like to know is this. "WHAT HARM IS IT TO PUT THE RESERVATIONS DATES ON THE OUTSIDE SO YOU KNOW IF YOU WOULD BEAT THE THE RESERVATION COMING IN?"
